Recursion: the phenomenon that occurs when a function is defined purely in terms of itself.
The Great Cycle is comprised of branching paths, twisting and breaking away from each other at the slightest of decisions.
It stands to reason, then, that the cycles are defined in terms of themselves as well. Each cycle is created due to changes within the last.
Therefore, I propose that, with enough time and data, we may be able to find the first cycle. The Original Cycle. We can find the very first decision that created these branching paths, and by isolating it, we may be able to eliminate it entirely.
I do not expect this to be quick or easy, but that is why it intrigues me so. Such puzzles are irresistible to our kind. I eagerly anticipate my results.
