No wonder Ry fell barking hard for him.

Just look at him — how he stands there a little exhausted looking up into some light shining down onto him, surrounded by red rising steam from the all foods factory and then he casually adjusts his shoulder a litte, ready to move on.

The first pic, tbh when I look at it, it always reminds me of my two Daniel Craig James Bond bluray steelbooks on my wall.

Happy Birthday Thyjs de Wit - made you a buddy.

This guy has been lingering in the back of my head for quite a while and while I am still hesitant of adding an OC to my blorbos he is very important to me for undisclosed reasons. This choom is still a WIP. And I can see myself getting into mods with him for sure. But all in due time. So here he is, Mika Gauthier, army buddy to Thyjs de Wit, part of his story that we will hopefully share more of. Thank you @chevvy-yates for just being an awesome human I guess.

"Een Militech Chimera is voor mij geen probleem." — Thyjs

I've been working on this approximately a month as I was uncertain how I want it to be in the end. The shots are from November 2023 when I was in my focused game play bringing Thyjs into Dogtown.

I loved the scenery after the Chimera is slayn already when I went through with Arki in my first playthrough but with Thyjs I wanted to take some special pics, thinking he's super good in exterminating a Militech Chimera. So I placed him onto it after the machine got slayn and thought why not make Thyjs pull the last remaining energy left of that big machine to load his cybernetic arm up with energy again when that big fight was over.

I love the tiny electricity effects and even spawned some more but it wasn't sadly enough so I was forced to add more later in post processing with lightning brushes. I've spend an immense time on getting the lightning to look good enough and probably worked on this set (and another I'll post later) over a month after work until I was finally satisfied.

The the idea stroke me to add more: bokeh, fire, dust, make all a bit blurry and well that's the result. This has been sitting in my drafts since more than a month as I always try to figure out when to post best, but there is no best time, so if you read and see this: I eventually managed to hit that button.

This is the first time I can actually really show what Thyjs is able to do. That electricity he can use is insane. I wish it was able to play like that ingame.

Not much to say. I randomly bought the Hellhound for Thyjs, did a job in the Badlands and then thought to pose him in front of the car. You see that didn't work out. Instead I did this (and more).

As always: I take pics first and think about the situation later because I love to interprete my own random doing. I came to the conclusion they had a day off and Thyjs needed some 'fresher' air away from the city and asked Ry to come with. In that way he could also try out his new offroad car (fucking Militech Hellhound yessss. I imagine to become also the team squad car). And after a fun dirt ride over sand and stones they stopped to make a pause in the late afternoon. Thyjs dozed off for a while and Ry doesn't dare to wake him up. <3

And Beatles, because— they are the Beatles and I wanted a cozy sweet song instead of some loud tunes. Besides that it toally fits to them both.

My due to this year's Valentine's Day: A litte soft morning almost Neo Kitsch.

I love their color difference still so much I'm not normal about it. This set (and the other I'll keep for tomorrow) was totally worth my lack of sleep last night but tonight I'll hit the sheets before midnight.

Looking at the pics now I headcanon, they just tried to get up after lying in bet for too long (it's still early in the morning but both are early birds) during a rare sunny morning and Thyjs simply can't get enough of kissing so he grabs Ryder and they kiss again, long and dearly. I wish I was more creative about it now but I'm srsly super tired. So this will have to do.

With only Ryder around, Thyjs has those rare moments where he feels deeply, puts off his hardened soldier shell and bears his vulnerable side, wants to love and be loved. To be held tightly, feel Ry's breath against his neck — the warmth giving him comfortably little shivers, that send vlinders (🦋) flying around in his belly, as they stay like that for sheer eternity whilst the sun set brings a cooler breeze of blue hour into the Badlands.

There is just this little headcanon of mine that Thyjs will be able to feel very strongly and deeply again once he rediscovers his put aside feelings (through his emotional numbing caused by warfare ptsd and taking various combat stims to opress them as Militech wants full functioning soliders not distracted by feelings).
