Trissa Avonniesh — Circle of the Moon druid, Firbolg, born to and raised by an isolationist circle in the Glimmerwood. Neutral good. Avid traveler, soft of heart, and an immensely talented cook.

trissa carries the lute alfira gives her from act one through to act three, slowly learning how to play bit by bit, until she finally breaks it out in front of the entire group once they settle down in the elfsong. she's not very good -- she hasn't had the time to perfect anything and isn't a natural -- but the song gets everyone dancing regardless.

squealing, giggling, kicking my feet, etc. halsin is gonna feel SO SAFE in trissa's big firbolg arms once i get to act three. get cherished and cared for, nerd. + an extra shot of what it'd look like if she was a full-blooded firbolg with an astarion for reference.

trissa knows that her size can be somewhat intimidating. she's almost seven feet tall, after all, and broad as the side of a barn. having someone that large randomly approach you when you're already afraid or wounded never goes well. so, with time, she begins to wild shape before approaching people who don't require immediate healing. child lost without their guardian? turn into a fawn or a fox or something fluffy and non-threatening in order to befriend them and lead them back. someone crying out in the woods or in the city, clearly upset for one reason or another? turn into a wandering cat or a kind-eyed dog or a bird with brightly colored plumage. and if the someone she comes across is wounded, she can heal inside of wild shape, and curled up in a lap is the ideal place to heal someone from.

something terrible happened during trissa's playthrough in grymforge. both she and wyll got hurtled into the lava by a spell. and even though they managed to jump up out of it and back onto safe and solid ground, the archer shot an arrow of rolling thunder at trissa and sent her flying back into it. this time, she wasn't able to jump back up. she got downed in the middle of the fight, and karlach had to jump down INTO THE LAVA in order to help her up. and then, once the fight was over, she refused to pay brithvar, and he and his people turned on her. they were all nearly dead at that point, though i'd managed to heal wyll up a bit (and thank god that i did, considering what happened after that). in the middle of the second fight, one of them casted DISINTEGRATE on wyll. it nearly fucking killed him in one hit, and i know that in dnd you can only resurrect from disintegrate with true resurrection or a wish spell. when i tell you i was fucking in tears over thinking about all of this happening. not since my first playthrough of bg3 had a fight gone so spectacularly wrong. but hey, now trissa has trauma!

my tavs are trissa avonniesh, a firbolg druid that never new a lasting warmth until mindflayers snatched her from silverymoon and twined her story with that of another druid, one with summer on his skin & aurelia dawnwright, a high elf sunite bard who has traveled from chessenta to tymanther to amn and the sword coast, caring for those who need to be cared for and teaching those who harmed the lovely a few very painful lessons.
