AAA THANK YOUUUU!! I’ll do Ell and Hilda for this one!!

Hilda loves Ell’s dedication to her craft! Ell will get super focused on a project and sometimes forget to eat or even work through the entire night only to realize thats what she did when Hilda comes to check on her! When theyre working together in Ishguard Hilda plans her schedule around visiting Ell with some food and reminding her to take breaks and/or a nap. Its something Hilda loves to do, peak in on her wife working!

I lean more towards Polyamory than monogamy! But also I love writing both because they both create such wonderful dynamics that are soooooo fun to explore!!

18. Who confessed?

With Sadu and Zee, Sadu confessed first! After the Nadaam, during which Sadu fell in love with Zee, she confesses to Zee once theyre away from others but makes sure to rub it in Magnai’s face soon after she has her answer (of yes)~

38. Describe their ideal home.

Ooooo this is a tough one!! For Sadu Zee and Erenville their ideal home would be somewhere in between them all, a large (in-game) house so when others need to stay there are plenty of rooms for them (Ell and Hilda often will spend time in the house, Love Bird and Sidguru not so much after they get a small house in Ishguard to help there when they are needed)! Inside there would be lots of plants and lots of windows to let light in, a mix of Steppe and Sharlyan furniture and decor, a big bathroom with a big tub so Zee can soak in the hot water to help her aching muscles and help with any phantom limb syndrome Zee is experiencing with her arm or leg stumps. A place that is meant to heal and rest and relax, and most importantly a place where Zee is NOT the warrior of light but where her party members and her can be just themselves and recuperate from the stress and pain of fighting.

Erenville, Sadu, and Zee’s bedroom would be spacious, easily maneuverable in a wheelchair when Zee wants to be prosthetic free. Plants everywhere again, lots of color, and several bookshelves with a cozy reading nook to cozy together. Their big bathroom attached to it so they can have privacy all together. The room is bright and cozy, somewhere where all 3 feel completely at home~

Love Bird and Sidguru’s room is decorated in a mix of Ishguard and Viera-n type furniture, a room for Rielle connected to theirs with a door locked on her side to let her have her own space but also so she can open that door when she wants/needs. Love Bird and Zee take Rielle shopping for her decor and furniture, wanting to make it a home away from home when her dads are needed, so she doesn’t have to stay in their Ishguard home by herself but still feel completely comfortable in a space of her own! Sidguru let Love Bird decorate their room, Love taking his husband’s tastes into account with low lighting while still making the room be a sanctuary away from their own home. While not as many plants as in the common areas of the house, Love Bird decorates with foliage and several vases of flowers which he grows himself (when not busy working with Zee or helping out in Ishguard or Old Sharlyan). The mix of foliage and the stonework details make the room a perfect cozy spot for the couple. Their bathroom is shared with Rielle but it has a good amount of room so the 3 share it without any issues.

Ell and Hilda’s room is decorated in Ishguard style as well, having a medium sized workshop attached so Ell can do any and all repairs needed, as well as craft most of her prosthetics and mobility aids, needing to visit Old Sharlyan to do some of the more advanced magic infusions. Hilda has a little desk corner that she uses to help plan things for Ishguard and the Brume specifically, often times she and Sidguru will work together when theyre both at the house and leaving on their projects together. While Ell is busy traveling with Zee Hilda will take little ‘vacations’ to the house to relax, and to help keep it in order (with the help of others staying of course) while the party is away. Hilda and Rielle spending time together quite often this way, Hilda becoming like an Aunt to Rielle fairly quick. Zee decorated the room for them when both Ell and Hilda expressed disinterest in splitting their time between their work and having to decorate their own space. If you ask them both they would say she did perfectly, making a calm environment that can also be used for their ever busy work! Their bathroom is much smaller compared to Love Bird, Sidguru, and Rielle’s but big enough to have a large hot bathtub for relaxing together in.

The scions each have their own rooms as well, Zee offering to decorate or buy/make the furniture they’d like for their spaces. Several taking up Zee’s offer to decorate (Thancred, Alphinaud, Estinien, and Y’Shtola) but the rest wanting to make their space up themselves!

I only have made Ell and Love Bird who are canon party members to Zee in her Warrior of Light business, often working with the scions as well, though never becoming an official scion. But Zee has a full party of non-scions she works with, I just haven’t made the 5 others just yet! But they all have rooms in Erenville, Sadu, and Zee’s house!

31. What’s ONE thing character A might gift their partner?

Ooooo this is such a good question!!! I’ll do Hilda gifting to Ell! Hilda is very practical with her gifts to her wife, and for a wedding present Hilda got Ell some very fancy tools specially made to help with prosthetic and mobility aid crafting and an engraved tool box to store them all! Ell cried when she got them, knowing she has her wife’s unconditional support in the hard work she does everyday!

And since I answered 12 already I’ll add another couple ship gifting :3

Love Bird gets Sidguru outfits, he lovvvesssss dressing up with his husband in fancy outfits and Sidguru, while often uncomfortable without his armour and weapon, loves to see his husband so happy! Love Bird also gets Rielle outfits of course, though usually it’s her picking them out as he takes her shopping with him all the time!

Zee gives Erenville her Elpis flower when they first start dating, Erenville keeping it secured to his pack so he can feel close to Zee while they are traveling apart~

41. Would they have any pets? If so, describe.

Zee and Sadu and Erenville would definitely have pets! Though with how busy they all are the island sanctuary is where they all live if/when not accompanying any one of them! Zee has a “bad” habit of adopting sick and disabled animals she finds and caring for them, often times if theyre able to heal up and travel she will take them on her visits around the world, and even more often she will take those able to travel with her on her visits to Sadu and Erenville when they can’t visit her! I’m still working on what minions would be canon for Zee to have with her but the Fat Cat minion 100% is canon (when i first played the game 6 years ago I cried the first time I saw a fat cat minion so I haveeee to make it canon for Zee)!

Ell and Hilda also have pets! The hawk minion and the sparrow minion specifically (so they can keep in touch with letters when Ell has to travel or spend a lot of time repairing Zee’s prosthetics in other cities than Ishguard). Hilda also has a little wolf pup Ell got her as a wedding present (need to think of a name for all their pets still)!

Love Bird and Sidguru don’t have any pets, but Love Bird would 100% jokingly refer to their adopted daughter as their ‘pet’.

Belle and Kask’ov think of everyone but themselves as a pet so they have a lotttt of ‘pets’~

Runaway Dreamer; Ell was born in Old Sharlyan to her affluent parents, their 2nd <redacted> with 2 younger sisters (and fraternal twins being born a year after her). Parents who were never going to allow her to be truly herself while she was under their thumb. Always drawn more towards the Stadium and inventing, Ell was never allowed to pursue her dreams of blacksmith and armoursmithing. At least while she still resided in Old Sharlyan. In her youth Ell had a small group of friends, Sigga and V'Ishika, all yearning to run away from home to chase their dreams. Sigga moved suddenly one day, moving without a word from her parents or her to ANYONE. On her 16th birthday V'Ishika managed to get Ell and herself both aboard a ship heading to Eorzea, specifically to Aleport in Limsa Lominsa.

Breathing Free at Last; During the boat ride to Limsa, and then her walk to Gridania, all Ell could think of was what to change her name to. Luckily she knew exactly by the time she arrived, Ellaeuxlynn Estara. The second step was transitioning completely~ (timeline; around Heavensward)

Working for the Carpenters Guild (when her first idea of applying at the Conjurers guild didn't go well, but did end in a fateful meeting of Zee and Ell) she began to learn the intricacies of crafting. Once she saved up enough to move, Ell traveled to Limsa and begin her blacksmith an armoursmith training. And this is where she ran into Zee Zalinos once again, this time watching the Warrior of Light struggle to make a half decent steel sheet. From there, a beautiful friendship flourished~ (timeline; after Heavensward/ in Stormblood~)

(SOME HEAVENSWARD SPOILERS IN NEXT SECTION)

Mad scientist? No Ambitious Inventor; Zee took Ell to Ishguard, introduced her to Stephanievien, and from there Ell found her true passion, prosthetic crafting. Stephanievien showed Ell the first prosthetic he had made for Zee, the prototype she stole and ran off with just a few days after her leg amputation surgery was done.

A cute romance~ Hilda and Ell got married very quickly, not that anyone but themselves knew until a few months later. They eloped, keeping it a secret as they traveled a little and enjoyed the world and themselves. Of course once you see the world beginning an apocalypse running away together was the only thing they wanted to do when the chaos calmed down, and Zee finally woke up. Hilda likes to tease Ell that she only married her for the free gun tune-ups, but Ell always teases right back with how Hilda couldn't stop staring at her when they first met of course they were going to get married someday~

Ell’s unexpected run in with her little sister Thibbirea and her students started on a rough patch~ but luckily they don’t stay in the rough patch and soon become very close~ Thibbirea comes to love not being the eldest daughter

~~Yes!! Zee has some scars on her hands, though they were mostly on her left hand, from when she was just learning to cook! Cooking food together as a family every night is one of Zee’s fondest memories of home~ And the small burn scars she has on her hip is from when she was a little older but also cooking scars! Besides those the few little scars she had from rough-housing as a kid have all disappeared as she grew older only leaving the faintest of lines if you knew exactly where to look~

>>Ell has 2 battle scars! She got cornered in a close quarters fight (with basically no melee training) and got 2 long slashes from the enemies along her arms as she shielded her gun from the damage. Love Bird noticed fairly quickly Ellaeuxlynn was not in the group, tracked her footsteps, and showed up right after the attack happened~

~~~Ellaexlynn has so many little scars and a good 40% were from her very clumsy puberty years. Her right elbow has a large scarred area from when her brother pushed her and she fell into every possible surface possible ending with a large gashed area and a trip to the healers for some stitches. Though she isn't much better in her adult life as Ell is one to get so lost in her work she won't notice a scratch or injury until finished or someone else points it out to her first. The scars on her face are both from a blacksmithing experiment of hers that, according to her, “only blew up a little bit”. 

---Zee has a couple that (were) on her left hand from kitchen accidents as she learned to cook with her family~ she has a few small burn wounds on her left hip from her first time frying food and splashing some too hot oil on herself. 

>>>V’Ishika’s scars, according to her, are all from ‘sea battles she’s won’, though several of them do look surprisingly like little knicks she got while she did her whittling. (if you asked her if they were from her hobby and not a glorious fight she would 100% challenge you to a duel for her honor)

----Zee’s scar on her right leg is by far the worst scar and wound. [HEAVENSWARD SPOILERS] [TW FOR Limb amputation, gore descriptions, injury description]

--[heavensward spoilers]I headcanon that during the quest “A Knights Calling” the spear doesn’t get just Haurchefant but also seavers her leg as she rushes to help him. Zee has to get an emergency amputation as the spear doesn’t cut off her leg but shatters the bones and shreds her muscles. The Chiurgeons did their best but the damage but she lost a lot more of her leg than they expected. Once she awoke Zee suffered months of phantom limb syndrome, most likely from her rush to fight as well as her refusal of others healing her. She couldn’t bear for other healers to see her in such a vulnerable spot while upheld on the pedestal of her title, especially as a White Mage. Even in post-Endwalker it is near impossible to get Zee to receive healing from anyone but her party, friends, or the scions.

"You'll have to catch me when I'm not busy with my trading." V'Ishika hoped none of her jealousy tainted her words, it was all she could do as her heart sunk like a rock.

The haze of time passing while lost in thought lasted for several hours after Ell had left. Memories of the two together haunted V'Ishika as she tried to finish her work for the evening. Sleep felt like a blink, just as restless as her waking hours, filled with mourning a love she never had the courage to chase.
