🟢👉 @b7l9_tunis 📣 🐙OPEN CALL🐙 📣 The #Octopusprogramme is an initiative of the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the Kamel Lazaar Foundation ( KLF ) which was launched in 2019/2020 with a pilot phase which linked Tunis and Vienna. The main phase is taking place in 2020/2021, bringing together @kamel_lazaar_foundation - @dieangewandte - @palmuseum - @konstfack - @indexstockholm - @universityofpretoria - @lessgoodidea - @sahadernegi - Saastamoinen Foundation and @publicsfi The programme is a guided research-based educational programme that encourages artistic research and production-based collaborations across academies and art institutions; students and professionals; diverse presentation modes; and processes of research and documentation in different geographies. While the Octopus Programme functions as a support mechanism for emerging artists, the main objective of the programme is to accumulate experience-based collective and creative output by taking geopolitical, social, ecological, and educational urgencies and diversities into consideration. The curators of the programme and representatives of partners are Barbara Putz-Plecko and @basaksenova (curator) in Vienna; Maria Lanz, @magnusbartas , @martimanen and @anneklontz_exhibitions (curator) in Stockholm; Lina Lazaar and @karimsultan (curator) in Tunis; @wjosephk ( William Kentridge ); @phala_ok and @bronwyn_lace (curator) in Johannesburg; Nabil Barham and @inassyassin1 (curator) in Birzeit; @celenkbafra (curator) in Istanbul; Johan Thom in Pretoria and Saastamoinen Foundation and @pauloneill_ (curator) in Helsinki.
