oh i finished shogun & my ending thoughts are: i wish i could combine shogun & blue eye samurai to make a wholly good show instead of two separate mostly good shows.

i rly liked all the costuming & attention to culture/culture shock that shogun had, along with the pacing & such, but i preferred the characters in bes. like just take the bes chars & give them the same details/decor as shogun.

idk. bes felt a lot more "weeb tries to dabble in edo japan" whereas shogun felt better researched & better consulted.
