#this is about personal art too yes#but i'm mostly saying this to people who hate modern art#of course so much of the modern art world is one massive money laundering scheme#but to reduce all modern art to its monetary value is incredibly short-sighted#art does not have to be high effort#art does not demand your understanding at gunpoint#all it is is something that a human being took time out of their life to make#for one reason or another#and that is value#modern art#abstract art#i will defend every single blank canvas that has a single blue line painted across it with my life
