THE INVESTIGATION

With the burning of the commons and THE POLLYANNA arrested - and implied to be G - it seems as if Ogden College has entered this year acting as if nothing is wrong. Despite THE TEACHER'S PET and THE SIREN both meeting their untimely demises, and THE GOLDEN GIRL no closer to being found than she was a year ago, the faculty and investigation seem to be trying their best to act as if that chapter is behind them. Plenty of students know that's not the case, G having texted them even after THE POLLYANNA had been carted off in cuffs, proving just how easy it is for them to be blamed for something they didn't do, leaving them with no answers and wondering two very serious things.... If they speak up....will they be next ?? And what did G have in store ??

The Student Council is hosting a trip to an apple picking trip !!! On Sunday, September 30th, join them to a nearby orchard to pick up some apple goodies, be it the actual apples, or indulging in some caramel apples, or apple cider.

With the start of October, the annual hayrides kick off !!! Take a stroll around town before taking a hayride to enjoy the fall foliage.

DECEMBER 17TH - JANUARY 6TH

THE INVESTIGATION

After investigating all the students again, the FBI agents have release no further information. Greer Morrison is suspected dead, yet in the midst of interrogations, students had to face their schooling and sit for finals like nothing was wrong. And so another semester comes to an end, with no answers appearing.

Despite the investigation officially being declared a cold case not long ago, apparently new information came to light - because the FBI has announced they have reason to suspect the disappearance of Greer Morrison is due to her death - and with no further information other than it may be connected to the suspicious going ons on campus, students are left more uneasy than ever. Not to mention, the presence of FBI, cops, and the entire investigation team back on campus makes it clear that something else is going on.

For anyone deciding to stay on campus, there’s the annual 5K Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning !!! 

All Thanksgiving week, Ogden is arranging collection for a local food drive, so stop by the faculty buildings to donate when you get a chance !!!

The recent news story that broke a few weeks ago explaining the investigation team believed had Penny been murdered due to awareness of why Greer left had everyone on campus shaken. Not only was it now public knowledge that someone on campus had overheard such a thing, they also knew someone had mentioned Greer’s potential trip to Portugal - and in all likelihood, neither of these people were even the same person who had thrown Link under the bus with the mysterious G, something that was seemingly only known to students. The list of people Ogden College students could trust was growing shorter and shorter. Even THE GOLDEN GIRL, who had held so many of their secrets in her hands couldn’t be trusted, if what had been reported about her time capsule video accusing her own boyfriend of steroid use could be believed. And who knew what else that video contained ?? If only someone - other than G - could get their hands on the full thing.

For anyone interested in rushing (or for any aspiring frat rats, of course !!!), it's the perfect time to introduce yourself to the chapters.

Police presence has again increased, likely due to the belief that Penelope Klein’s death was not an accident. 

Ogden’s Winter Wonderland is being set up during the first week of February - check out the quad for small booths with hot chocolate, hot cider, as well as some warm snacks and desserts !!! A small ice skating rink will be set up, as well as stations for sled rides and tubes to enjoy the snow. And of course, the best part of the tradition will be on Saturday the 11th, where an informal snowball fight always takes place. 

The infamous Ogden College quiz bowl team is hosting a meet on February 7th for anyone who wants to attend the intense competition !!!

Light Festival - The town of Ogden takes down the lights adorning trees and public buildings every year on February 15th, and it’s become a tradition the weekend before that date to take a stroll and enjoy all the lights before they are put away for the year !!! Street vendors typically have snacks, drinks, arts & crafts, homemade goods and the likes, with light shows taking place as the evenings get darker - not to mention, a great place to pick up a last minute Valentine’s gift if you forgot !!! The week before classes begins is always a huge party week, so while there are no campus official events yet, there is plenty to do. Normally - though with an eerie feeling still settled over everyone from winter break, things certainly aren’t normal.

THE INVESTIGATION

The recent news story that broke in the past week explaining the investigation team believed had Penny been murdered due to awareness of why Greer left had everyone on campus shaken. Not only was it now public knowledge that someone on campus had overheard such a thing, they also knew someone had mentioned Greer’s potential trip to Portugal - and in all likelihood, neither of these people were even the same person who had thrown Link under the bus with the mysterious G, something that was seemingly only known to students. The list of people Ogden College students could trust was growing shorter and shorter. Even THE GOLDEN GIRL, who had held so many of their secrets in her hands couldn’t be trusted, if what had been reported about her time capsule video accusing her own boyfriend of steroid use could be believed. And who knew what else that video contained ?? If only someone - other than G - could get their hands on the full thing.

The end of the school year is drawing ever closer !!! For students still looking for a summer internship, there will be a career fair Monday, May 1st with notable alum attending, so get that networking in now before all the reputable openings are taken up.

WHAT: It's almost the end of the year, and the art students have plenty of work to show for it. Come to the opening evening of their spring show and enjoy the art along with some hors d'oeuvres and wine.

CABARET CAST PARTY

WHAT: Opening night of the spring musical (Cabaret), and of course the theatre department is going to celebrate in the way only they really can. If you're lucky enough to get an invite, it's a party you don't want to miss !!!

CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

It's that time of year - the temperature is warming, the weather is getting nice, and students should make sure to take breaks and get some time outdoors !!! There will be guided hikes for every level taking place every Sunday for the rest of the semester. Don't forget to check the start time, and meet at the base of the hiking trails just off campus.

It's almost time for the ballet and theatre company's spring performances, and they're looking for volunteers to paint sets !!! Head on over to Tate Theatre anytime from the 10th to 14th - get free tickets may be available to those who help out !!!

Monday, April 17th is Patriot's Day, so enjoy the Monday off of classes !!!

WHAT: It's 4/20 !!! Bring your apparatus of choice and celebrate the holiday the only way that is appropriate !!! There will be food trucks parked along the side of the park for any serious cases of the munchies. Just...don't be obvious about it.
