Something that I hope you are able to write for your work is forth gen dragon slayers. Which are basically dragon slayers that learned their magic but not from a dragon.

so like canon god slayers then

#htryds ask #nah i don't want dragon magic to be *easy*#i like giving lost magic #more consequences :)#and magic in general but especially the powerful stuff #i don't have any plans to go beyond 2nd gen for successful dragon slayers though #there'll be an arc that explores that stuff waaaaay down the line #so admittedly I haven't fully committed to anything yet #but yeah #oh and i'm gonna mess with god slayer stuff too but that's another thing
