Bookcase Organization Project (?): Pagan Bookcase

... At 1am. Its a subset of my Room Project.

So I have 4 bookcases (and a small single shelf one "Bedside Bookcase") in my room. After a significant flood warning I had to move all the books and items on their bottom shelves to the top and absolutely did not have the energy to put them back. Now I'm using the need to put them away to A.) Go through and look for books I want to give away. B.) Reorganize them C.) Dust the hell out of these bookcases ew.

But oh my Gods, my book organization that I had carefully put by "genre", has gone to absolute complete shit on 3 of my bookcases including my largest.

This book case I've always referred to as my "Pagan Bookcase". And well, I got the random urge to do some To Do Tasks even though my fatigue is so high. I think the anxiety and severe stress over my room defeated the fatigue for like 0.5-1 hour, that and I organize a lot when I feel very depressed & "empty" emotionally.... and I'll probably pay for this physically.

Anyways, I used the opportunity to fix some shit in closet (that stuff also had to be moved due to flood watch) it only took a few minutes. Then I kept thinking about this bookcase and thinking and thinking and thinking— and it just wouldn't stop no matter how hard I tried 😵‍💫 compounded by insomnia.

So I just went through the entire damn bookcase. Putting books I don't want in a box, moving any related books (except 6) from my Bedside Bookcase to these organized piles (I'll pick which ones I want at bedside when all the bookcases are organized)

Obviously I haven't put them on the shelves yet or cleaned the bookcase. BUT I've looked through them and TECHNICALLY organized them. And I have to work in baby steps so this is definitely an accomplishment. And I need to recognize it as an accomplishment even if its not "completed." I never would have called this an accomplishment before— my views are slowly changing its something mg CFS/Long Covid specialist has mentioned to me. Recognize accomplishments no matter how small, and even if done with help, and you'll feel less shitty (...paraphrased obvi)

*The "ANE Religion history" is mislabeled its both ANE and Greek.

I know some ANE general history is on my Big Bookcase and I'm not sure if I should move all of the ANE general history to the Big Bookcase or move whats over there rn to this bookcase. The ANE general history books contain religious info even if its not their main purpose. So I'm leaning towards putting it all here..... if it can even fit.

I don't agree with plenty of these books but I find giving books away very difficult I'm surprised I found more than like 2 I'm willing to give up. TBF This bookcase does cover 13 years of my religious path. (Big orb is my night light)
