#okay i had this fic idea of richie spending those 27 years trying to deny his sexuality#i mean he didnt forget he’s gay he just forgot how to love bc he lost that when he forgot about eddie#and then seeing eddie again everything hits him again and god just imagine the rush of emotions from seeing someone u have loved since#before you really understood what love is???#and richie cannot he just cannot handle it but he knows that this is the emotion hes been searching for all his life#so yeah he fuckin hates that clown for stealing that away from him and hates how the only way to keep that love is for eddie to die#bc he cant have both the emotion and the person#so hes like . able to understand what love is and understand that his love (his gayness) is okay to express#so he does a standup show with his own jokes and tells a story about forgetting how he was in love w a hypocondriac#‘he took out his inhaler and i kid you not i should have been the one wielding it at the time not him’#idk why im writing this in the tags instead of an actual fic but u get the point#immmmm in my reddie feels leave me Be
