Look, I know shizaya is so many Durarara!! fans OTP and all but I once again say. Wow. Like my guy. Izaya really thought "okay, I'll take this fight to the death into this big crowd. Even if I lose and he kills me, I still win. He'll be a monster. He'll go to jail and be a monster."

Disclaimer: I also ship them. I just really find this funny. Izaya is my favorite, but oh my goodness is he depressing. I would really like to know Izaya's feelings after the first series. I don't know yet if he appears in SH. I do know there's at least one novel for a spin-off him after the fight and disappearing. I haven't found where to read a translation of that. I wish the spin-offs and extra material would be serialized in English...

#{domino talks}#durarara!!#izaya orihara #on the other hand i finally finished the initial Durarara series (⁠ ⁠；⁠∀⁠；⁠) how bittersweet #took ten years to get a sequel and the novels in America #took me ten years to finish it all #actually looking at the final publishing date of volume 13 i'm glad it wasn't until the 10th anniversary that s2 became a thing #that actually enabled them to have it follow the novels very well #it's still bittersweet for me though even with SH existing #which i need to start buying those again before there's another volume 8 situation e_e #even if i ship them I personally like that instead of understanding each other it's really they want to kill each other #but oh my gosh Vorona not wanting Shizuo to be a murderer (⁠ ⁠；⁠∀⁠；⁠)#and Shizuo not wanting her to be a murderer XD #i don't really ship them I actually need to make a post about Shizuo being aroace because i think it's interesting to contemplate #i just gots lots of thoughts but can't write them very well since i'm at work (⁠ب⁠_⁠ب⁠)
