just ordered yarn for my next knitting project (blanket...to keep me warm...because I like my apartment freezing cold) and I AM wincing at the cost but also A. I literally never spend money on myself, B. this will keep my hands and brain occupied for a while (both important), C. it's actually not that much more expensive than buying a nice blanket for myself, and D. I literally never spend money on myself so there
