There weren’t many moments in his existence where he held any sort of smug nature in being right. This was one of those moments where his being right, he couldn’t quite figure out if he was pleased or not. His pack was small for a reason. Kept tight knit, closed. He knew where everyone was at all times - and there was a reason behind his madness. Much more than just the overbearing Alpha he had been accused of being in his past.

He’s lost enough in his life that a few whispers wouldn’t effect his leadership style. However, having someone leave - just to show back up on his proverbial porch was... well, he wasn’t sure how he felt about it. And he let the caution show on an otherwise stoic face.
