   It always felt like me and Darian were almost in this like sword fight and he’s just been one level above me so we’re almost on equal playing grounds and I could win if I just push myself that one step, but I can’t… ”

Nico had wanted a quite night and there he was, out on his own…again. He heard a noise to the side of him and quickly pulled out his seraph blade, swinging it around in his hand as he crept closer, “I’m in no gaming mood. Show yourself.”

It was hard for everyone, Audrey knew that and every day things got harder. She knew they couldn’t stay at the farm forever, it wasn’t plausible. But for now, they were recuperating and the farm was the best place. After coming back from the creek, to hang up all the clothes she’d been washing, she saw one of the rural group not far away. “I don’t suppose you want to give a girl a hand, do you?” She asked as she gave him a small smile.
