I have an idea Joel as an Oni.

Why because Joel's skin is based on Shrek and Oni's are Japanese version of Ogre.

It could be like Joel has shapeshifted himself into a less scary version of Oni with more human features like human skin and human size but when he feels extreme emotion he will lose control of his form and turn back into a big intimidating Oni form. That could be cool.

I was going to design Oni Joel but I'm busy with my other art projects so because I don't want to keep that to myself here's an idea if anyone is interested in wanting to create any content about it.
