Rise/2012 crossover where Leon & Donnie get transported to the 2012 dimension (thanks Donnie) & have to survive there for a bit until they can get back home.

Donnie obviously has to focus on the actual "getting home" bit, so it's up to Leon assure the whole "survival" thing.

At first he's just doing odd-jobs under the table thanks to the use of a cloaking broach he nicked off of Big Mama a while back, but eventually he stumbles upon a movie shoot for the "Chris Bradford" action movie franchise.

It isn't going particularly well, since the look-alike the director hired in place of the mysteriously vanished Bradford just isn't up to snuff martial arts-wise. In the end, the look-alike storms off set after declaring his intent to quit which sends the crew into a panic.

Leon, ever hankering for his 5 minutes of fame, is quick to introduce himself & assure his experience as a martial artist (slightly exaggerated, but he's been mimicking his dad's movies for years, if there's anything he knows how to do, it's how to make his moves look good for the camera).

The director only really gives him a chance out of desperation, but once he sees Leon's demonstrations on film, he's instantly hooked.

The movie changes from being about "Chris Bradford" to being about his "disciple" though the movie itself is really only using that as a loose tie-in to draw a bigger crowd.

Leon brags to Donnie about his new-found stardom, but he's not actually expecting anything to come from it.

In fact, he & Donnie only stay in the dimension long enough for him to finish filming before he bids the case & crew adieu.

So he completely missed the fact that it's an INSTANT SMASH-HIT

The Director & crew (who were NOT expecting this, the just wanted to milk what they could from a dying movie franchise) are desperate to find their new golden goose, the gossip rags are fighting for information about this mysterious up-and-coming star...

and the original, very much still alive Chris Bradford (currently known has Rahzar)?

Yeah, he is NOT happy about someone stealing his legacy out from under him.

and he's out for blood.
