Welcome to LRS 433/F!

This is the tumblr for Liberal Studies 433/F: Practicum in Early Literacy, a fieldwork course offered in Fall 2022 at California State University, Northridge for future elementary school teachers in the Literacy Scholars for the Future of Los Angeles (LSLA) specialization. Our community partner for this course is CHIME Institute, a K-8 charter school in Woodland Hills, CA.

The images below feature each of the picture books we will be studying this semester. CSUN students will be posting read alouds and literacy lessons about these picture books for 1st grade students learning at home throughout the semester.
