Body refs

Hunter is wider set so with clothes on he looks solid but as amity said, he’s scrawny. Pale bc he’s kept heavily armored or in the palace and also not eating enough. tired bc of the same reasons

And then we have him sneaking off to the owl house more. He’s pretty compact in the middle, plumply apple/square shaped. A bit darker once he fills out as the Nutrients return to his body. Nervous Bc What Will Belos Think

No but like

Hunter living in the palace and seemingly getting everything he wants bc belos has manipulated his view of the world so he’s under the impression that he lives in fulfillment and that others simply over indulge and he simply Can’t let that happen bc “you’re better than that hunter, we need you in perfect condition for what the titan has planned and to protect the people, don’t we?”

He’s a very slim boy. Naturally wide set so he LOOKS healthy but beneath his armor you can see that he’s underfed and not very healthy and you can see it on his face with the dark tired circles under his eyes

Then he starts to break away from belos. At first sneaking off to practice with a real staff. Slowly becoming friendlier with luz after promising not to hurt her and “look I just...want to see that glyph again...”

At first she only shows him light glyphs bc they’re generally harmless but slowly they warm up to each other and then the rest of the gang and, even slower, amity does too.

So they start inviting him around more and he starts sneaking out more and also sticking around for meals more. Feeling actually full for the first time. Being worried and distant about eating for a bit but warming up to it and actually really enjoying eating food as he should

Still has to go home and eat what he’s ‘supposed to’

At first he just fills out a bit but since he’s never eaten the amount he’s supposed to his body naturally starts to hang onto it. At first it’s just a lil excess, then he starts to actually get chubby and You Can Tell

His face is fuller and he’s more chipper and he doesn’t get worn out from practice as much. He has to borrow and sew out some of his clothes and he starts getting nervous and stressed about it and stops eating but luz is good and notices right away and is just “hey, you know. When we first met I thought you were a bad boy but a sad boy. Prickly and mean and sharp edges to keep people away. But your not a bad boy and...you don’t have to be a sad boy. So don’t be afraid of how you change. Because the hunter you are right now is...my friend.”

And that makes him feel great!
