#Le cimetière de Sapânta a la réputation d’être le plus joyeux au monde. Et pour cause : les traditions valaques de cette région du nord de l#la mort étant associée à un état d’immortalité. Oubliés sous l’influence de l’Eglise#ils ont été remis au goût du jour par Stan Ioan Patras. En 1935#ce sculpteur décide d’orner les pierres tombales du cimetière du village de motifs joyeux et colorés. A sa mort#son apprenti a pris le relais.
