trying to think of the cruelest way to insult a certain phenotypical feature in humans that would get my health insurance to pay for a cosmetic procedure.

I’m leaning toward “the single dullest obfuscation of human diversity that our genome continues to perpetuate”

I’m hoping that take inspires horrible enough cognitive dissonance to get someone to just *approve* a request for something that’s teeeeeeeeechnically experimental.

I mean, it’s healthcare so I know just asking isn’t going to work. I have however noticed that medical professionals seem to be much better at getting things to happen if I tuck in one really fucked up statement among otherwise polite and friendly conversation.
