absolutely love looking at a recipe (esp ones I've made myself successfully) and seeing reviews of it like "this sucked it was awful had to keep adding corn starch and it just wouldn't turn out"

like... the recipe calls for dark corn syrup not corn starch so I mean I'd start with reading comprehension and go from there, bud

#SO. MANY. REVIEWS. ON. RECIPES. LIKE. THIS.#it came out dry. used all the [blank] listed. ([blank] is entirely wrong fucking ingredient)#or when you can tell by reading thr review they just speed ran through making it like #not adding dry to wet ingredients. not alternating dry and wet to your butter sugar mix. etc etc #like they don't tell you all that shit for nothing! there IS a point! add the eggs one at a time! so on and so forth!#or another fave 'I substituted 12 ingredients and this was AWFUL' like bro.......#I could honestly just run a bitch abt recipes side blog...#anyway... hoping to once again make rum balls for new years lol #erin explains it all
