decided to do some references for glaggleland sillies!

Most of them are gigglers, but Sketti is a glaggle (a more... aggressive variant). Gigglers can be turned into glaggles and vice versa.

Princess (they/them); they like to romp around in the woods and they're usually dirty as a result. In fact, their paws and ears have been stained green because of it! Also, they're an assassin and their title is Life Stealer >:]

Patches (it/its, ey/em), who is colored like an egg and is super smart. It is really good at solving puzzles

Barnaby (she/her); she has really long legs and is very frog. While my characters were all canonically drawn by the Artist, Barnaby is one of the few characters who actually remembers this.

Gooble (any pronouns)... why do they look like a grunt??? No one knows. They are violent in the same way a cat is, and goes crazy for feather toys

Orble (he/him), who is very round and always wants attention. Please pet him.

Sketti (he/him, they/them), who is as long as ever and still has a habit of chewing up shoes

shes like one of the migrating jellyfish in woy but gained sentience somehow and went to magic school to learn magic. but then she learned too much magic and accidently fused her body with WATER MANIPULATION POWERS🌊🌊🌊 that gave her new arms and eyes. The bowl on her head helps her contain it

so while shes one of the rare amount of girls that emperor awesome actually treats normally he tries to keep it low profile with how he used to be lame like her while shower curtain wizard is just confused about why emperor awesome acts so distant to her... sad :(

Clover: she's just a metagala fankid, I just wnated a kid for em, but I did DRASTICALLY change her backstory over time.

Heart: I think one of her best memories is prbly one with harvi in it, I think she really likes and admires her cousin so yeah! Maybe the one where Harvi plays tea party with her and manges to bring real sweets to eat at it, another might be with her parents.. orbly when audrey was just born Lol.

Apple: it's a good relationship with both of them! They're doing thier best (galacta is pretty overprotective worried she'll get hurt and freaks out whenever meta knight just gives her a sword because he gave s sword to Krby when he was Valerie age and he was fine. Like that's his reasoning. God never change meta) (Valerie really lives her parents ofc. What child doesn't love their parents?)

Realms:

I have seven realms separate from earth (earth is more like a passage way between all of them)

The first realm:

The first realm is full of snow and ice, there is one sun that is located far, far away, too far to give any real heat. No one knows exactly what happened to the original inhabitants of the first realm other than the fact that they were turned into grotesque monsters that feast on everything that moves.

This made the Goddess Uni use her magic to create a globe around a large area of the realm where she invited brilliant people from all the other realms to inhabit it, she created different sections to accommodate the different species and talents living there.

Through technological advances thank to the genius scientists from the second realm, they were able to spread the "Angels" (not related to our singular grey skinned Angel) which are different functioning robots stationed to keep the peace in the realm.

The Second Realm:

There is alot of history behind this one, given the fact that it is currently split into two kingdoms, long story shortened, some people wanted to use the dark magic from the flowing fountain, this is very illegal, follow that by revolutions that lasted thousands of years and billions of victims and the Goddess Uni finally split the realm between the two, creating a seemingly impassable magical barrier which have been for a million years.

The light kingdom (I'm bad at names don't at me) is the home of some of the most brilliant creatures around, from medical care, entertainment to weapons and shelters, these people revolutionized all these concepts!

With tall green trees, flowing rivers and gorgeous flowers, most of the species inhabiting this realm are insect based, beautiful and graceful with bright colours and an even brighter smile! This realm used to birth Unicorns as well, but after millions if years of ruling they all went extinct, save for out gracious Goddes Uni!

The Third Realm:

This realm is known mostly for the genocide against its Godlings, since after they refused to peacefully merge with the other realms, the inhabitants turned to killing their Godlings to inherit their powers, giving them enough strength to resist the Goddess and sign a treaty that lasts five hundred thousand years.

Long ago, the third realm consisted of large floating islands, each ruled by it's own caring Godling, but as they were hunted down, the Godlings ordered the waves to climb the land and crash over its people, causing the once unique scenery to all sink down below, save for one small island that is rumoured to house the only surviving Godling.

The people there evolved fins and gills, making them quick and agile underwater, they rebuilt their homes and connected the sunken islands with a series of underwater caves that extend as far as the imagination takes you. They are now all ruled by the family that killed the most Godlings back in the old days. Now, after the treaty is over, they are slowly integrating with the rest of the realms, and gaining all the luxuries that come with that.

The Fourth Realm:

The smallest of them all, filled with curious and unique creatures that are nothing more than a stray orb of light, their lives are long, nearly endless as long as they keep their light protected. They do that by hiding it away inside a wooden shell, flimsy and ugly, the branches did nothing to help the poor creatures move and wander, but everything changed after the Goddess offered her aid.

The Orblings are now given a permanent home in a beautifully articulated bot the moment they are born, the powerful steal gives them all the strength they need to start working at the production factories, these small creatures take pride in being the best at their field, such a sweet thing.

The Fifth Realm:

The fifth realm was destroyed long ago, nothing remains of the civilisation is once housed. How horrible must one be to disappear without a trace? That remains to be seen, the glimmer of hope in this rather depressing tale is that the Goddess is planning to send research and examination troops to discover all that was lost!

The Sixth Realm:

Flames, rocks and lava is all you'll ever find in this hellish realm, kept for millions of years under the firm grasp of Lucifer, the demons living there have finally gotten a taste of freedom after he passed.

With all the injustice, cruelty and ignorance that plagues this place, the Goddess knew that the people would break into a devastating civil war in order to claim the long awaited throne. In order to keep peace and prevent the same atrocities that happened in the second realm to happen again, she sent Angels down to keep the demons in check.

The Seventh Realm:

The existence of a seventh realm is heavily debated upon, given that the only proof of it's existence is a large unseen mass of nothingness, but not one to leave room for the unknown, Goddess Uni has ordered immediate research and studies to be conducted.

Uni and Bunnii were born in the second realm and Voya was born in the light kingdom.

Lucifer was born in the sixth realm. And Angel was found in the sixth realm.

The rest are the earth gang, but worry not! More ocs from the rest of the realms are under development!

Tropes

I really like redemption arcs, I think it's very interesting to look at how a bad character can become better, and how far are they willing to go to better themselves, will they take it to the extreme that is becomes hurtful to themselves? Or will they be sensible. Will they force others to forgive and forget or will they accept the fact that some relationships can't be mended? These concepts are explored through Rouge.

Another trope I really enjoy is bending reality through the eyes of a character, their pain and suffering manifesting itself in various ways. I intend to explore this concept in different ways, by Voya's damaged mind, Theodore's phobias and PTSD, and Rouge's memorizing abilities.

I quite enjoy the fish out of water trope, people discovering different places and either falling in love or being severely disturbed by it, this is mostly used in Bunnii's story, Voya, Elliot and Theodore.

Oc you want to think about more

Bunnii I keep changing things about her and I just want to settle down! I want him to have a good design and a good story but I just don't think of them that often! Same goes with Damiano. Sigh.

this is written like a script, but i don't like how the layout translated to tumblr, so i changed it a bit. tbf, i've used scripts laid out like this before.

i'm still figuring out how to separate my supernatural research center from the magnus institute. i mean, the way it functions is so much different, as it's a library and not strictly an academic institution, but i feel like calling the accounts of the supernatural "statements" is still too close.

5. How did you figure out your oc's identity?

came to me in a vision

(the truth is, she's just kinda always been bisexual? like i didn't really think on it, it was just part of her character. you know?)

i imagine she kinda did at first, because of the desire to Belong(TM) and therefore find The Perfect Label. but she just decided on bisexual because it fit the best, even if she doesn't 100% feel like it applies.

yes! alejandro is loveless aroace, diego is aroallo, leylo is demisexual, valerie is aroflux, and mothy is alloace.

tbh leylo (when it comes to "choosing bisexual as a label because it's easiest," not demisexual) (and also "pluralcy makes labels hard"). also every single character of mine who has decided their sexuality simply isn't their problem. me too

it didn't require as much searching as i had anticipated tbh! but um. yeah. in contrast, gwen's design hasn't really changed since she was first created.

i suppose leylo, too, but that's more in demeanor. i didn't want her to be grumpy anymore. i don't know when she got so many piercings i think i blacked out and added those

oliver! oliver's been sitting in the works for a while, but i finally came up with more stuff for him. he's leylo and zach's brother. eerily similar to brennan lee mulligan in a way i did not intend but am taking in stride. constantly studying something-- perhaps not in a professional sense (i.e., college), but needs to keep busy. likes learning and sharing information. this is how he bonds. unfortunately sometimes those around him take this as arrogance

26. What's your favorite relationship/dynamic between a set of OCs?

cheating by using blaseball players (yunie & a-z) BUT. guy who works a normal 9-5 x the most outgoing PG-rated-anime protagonist of a human being. anime protag should also have a little pet of some sort. for funsies. also funsies if one party was isekaied.

with my actual ocs? person a is so so traumatized in ways he has repressed for years until becoming close to person b and now it hits a head and person a has to decide to face trauma head on or once again stop themselves from forming relationships because they are so so afraid. i've done this twice at least. ex., guy who is definitely a Dog Guy and Loves Dogs and it's like a solid 1/5 of his personality x woman who has very obvious facial differences and disability caused by a dog attack. different dog btw. like there should be a reason to hesitate yk.

now. none of that is strictly romantic. but this one HAS to be strictly platonic: single parent (person a) ends up meeting someone (person b) who becomes their best friend. they move in together. person b is great with person a's kid. they're incredibly close friends. person b becomes person a's other parent. they never become romantic partners but bonus points if they get married for convenience. and still try to date other people.

arthur: any pre-existing characters that inspired this oc?

well. i was in a sburb roleplay where we all came up w/ our own ocs and i accidentally ripped arthur off wholesale from it at first? i feel like the ethics here are Dubious. but 1) rp fell thru, person playing the character that inspired arthur expresses disinterest in his character. 2) try very hard to not think about it. except-- 3) finally take character, change name and some other aspects. 4) have been changing "some other aspects" for fucking years now and he has been successfully ship of theseused as well. i can't think of any besides that

traveling, which works out, because he has about five moms who are still alive (none are his birth mom) and all live in different places, and he ends up bouncing around a lot. he also stays with his godfather, nicostratus (nic, nico or nicky for short).

he's also interested in geology and geography, as well as a small interest in fashion.

im not sure he can feel embarrassed tbh. he's generally a very open book. he has secrets (he literally has Blood Powers and comes from Haunted Woods) but none of them are embarrassing.

his ass is unemployed. he's in his senior year of high school and has to decide when/where to settle down and then he can decide on a job. being the product of a divorced polycule means he doesn't get to stay in one place often.

weasels. because he kinda looks like one. also sort of bears, mostly because the name arthur means "bear."

greatest strength and greatest flaw are kind of two sides of the same coin: he's nosy and has a strong sense of justice. he helps a lot of people, but it also lands him in a lot of trouble.

favorite TV show: okay i cannot remember what it's called. but there's this TV show about a bunch of elderly ladies that were in organized crime that go undercover at a retirement village for reasons i've also since forgot. it's also polish. there's like 3 main women? okay so i don't remember anything about it but i think she would like it. also ninjago

favorite musical: he seemed like a "guy who didn't like musicals" sort of guy. never listened to it (auditory processing disorder forbids me from understanding what ppl are saying when singing) but the vibes are there
