I know that this was meant to be an extremely cute way for them to get to PPD, but: it does suck so incredibly hard that Pran WOULD take, to some heart, either the lies that Pat needs to tell his friends, and/or the deep internal beliefs that Pat may very well believe about Pran's abilities to take on big problems on Pran's own. And that, because so much of their lives exist in secret, that they can only either talk about this between each other, or with their minuscule group of friends (and Pa) that know their secrets. It just -- SUCKS.
