10. Tanno Tatsuhiko, I found him in Ehime while playing through blizzard and I just knew I needed him

9. Zokuseiga Nekketsu, I ended up giving him Big Bang in another play through and actually ended up fully levelling up the move!

8. Katsumata Kazuki, I like him a lot because of his description about “nursing a rivalry with footballers” besides that he’s a great defender (despite being listed as a keeper)

7. Rakurai Gorou, I just like his design, and he’s another great choice for a defender if you ever go through the GO games!

6. The tryout trio, if anyone doesn’t remember these three, they’re the guys who failed the try out for Raimon, but in the games you can actually recruit them after the match with Gassan Kunimitsu. Also I like how for Oshii and Kotegawa, the game just lets you know they aren’t good people, Oshii is described as self-centered and Kotegawa literally cheats to win, so obviously I used them both (bonus points if anyone remembers when Oshii was my pfp AND banner)

5. Hammer, he was my best midfielder in my first GO light playthrough, when I get GO shadow I’m definitely using him again, also he’s just baby Tobitaka, look at his pompadour!

4. Misato Irita, not only do I love his design but the fact his nickname in Japan is just Military is amazing and I only found out after looking up the Japanese names since I know they’re preferred in the fandom (sorry if I look like a huge geek using them)

3. Miyasaka Ryou, I don’t know if he counts since he appeared in the anime or whatever but I’ll put him here anyway since I like how in IE2 he will only join your team if you’ve got Kazemaru with you, I like how they acknowledge their friendship!

2. Raimei Jin, he’s always given me the impression that he was meant to be the original Shishido, like they’re both midfielders and Raimei definitely has that design that stands out, idk maybe I’m wrong but I’ve just thought that before they designed Shishido, they had Raimei

1. The motherfucking Sagaminator, he’s a real mystery, he doesn’t have a second name and even then his only names are Sagaminator or Saggy like it just radiates badass energy and for that he is my favourite scout, Godspeed Sagaminator you Johnny Bravo looking motherfucker you

Honourable mention goes to Hosoe Shigeshi who’s just a peeping Tom you recruit in the first game by finding him spying on the girls changing room, I’d post an image but Google’s free and I’ve reached the image limit
