How long have you been a fan of Sherlock Holmes? How do you celebrate your Holmesian milestones?

amindamazed answered: I’ve been a fan of Elementary since Oct 2012 but it took a little longer for that to expand into thinking of myself as a fan of the Holmesian genre beyond that show - mid 2014, I think. No milestone markers so far. Happy anniversary!

theshiningbeacon answered: I’ve been a fan since I was a child, so…. 20+ years? I don’t think I’ve ever celebrated yearly milestones; instead I tend to carve out time every Christmas to read/listen/watch anything The Blue Carbuncle (+ others). that’s my celebration time

gardnerhill answered: I love to tell people that I’ve been a fan of Sherlock Holmes since before Benedict Cumberbatch was BORN. My dad, still above ground, was reading Holmes before Doyle DIED.
