I might still be in the process of recovering due to this little surprise, because @geronimo-11 is just too sweet for words. I’d already be over the moon over Hana’s set, but one for Hana/Sharky as well? My poor heart just can’t handle that level of soft, and also the pretty. <3

I didn't read the rules close enough for that Title meme lol but can I hear some more about "Sharky on Guard Duty" or maybe "You're Not Real" please?

It’s all good! So, ‘Sharky puts himself on guard duty’ is definitely a title that’s a little misleading considering that part isn’t actually written yet, and the majority of the idea focuses more on what takes place after that.

It’s late in FC5′s cycle, and Hana’s running on empty in a lot of ways, and started doing more and more on her own. Pulled away by Jacob’s men, the Angels, and John, as she tries to sort her feelings out in every area. Though she’s not apart from him for long, she’s feeling Sharky’s absence strongly, and gets word that he’s helping out at a nearby Resistance outpost.

So she heads up there to find him, and it’s late by the time she does. Late enough that he’s no longer on guard duty, but camping out separate from the main area everyone’s cramped into, and after accidentally waking him up slips into his tent.

And well, feelings ensue. I’ve posted roughly half of this snippet, but here’s what happens after. ;)

“Missed you, you know.” Lingering by her, she wouldn’t have heard it otherwise. “Thought you were-well, I’d know from listening in. Checked that shit every day just to see what news was going around, and I know you’re a total badass, but…I wanted to hear you say it.”

Sharky’s grip on her tightened. Pulled her closer as his breath fanned against her, and Hana let her lips graze his throat as he swallowed. Felt his breath catch as he tried to keep on talking.

“Have you say everything’s fucking great, the Seeds can eat a dick, every last one of ‘em. Just any and all of that, ‘cause then I’d know. I’d hear your voice, and everything’d be okay. Everything would be right as rain, and you’d be okay too.”

He kissed her again, shifting so he could kiss her cheek, and he didn’t move away. Not even when she moved her head so she could face him directly.

“I’m sorry.”

Her lips touched his.

She pressed a soft kiss to his bottom lip, then tilted her head to try and catch his top lip as well. Neither were held for long, but after the second she brought her hand up to his face. Ran her thumb over his cheek as she stared up at him, and listened to the sound of his breathing.  

Hana kissed him again, this time tugging on his lip lightly with her teeth, and he leaned forward. Touched her gently, slowly as he moved his mouth against hers. Kept his hands in place on her back even as they clenched at her shirt, all while she slid hers up and into his hair. Just tested the waters of every part of this, as her heart threatened to beat a hole through her chest.

“Shit, H,” he rasped, breaking away. “…I, uh, are you-you thinking straight right now? Like actually wanting to-”

“Am I what?”

She frowned, but dropped it the minute she could make out the look he was wearing. Seeing that much doubt written all over him dug straight at her insides, and she’d do damn near anything to chase it away.  

“Sharky. This is nothing but me, hon. Me. No bliss, no alcohol, nothing. Just me,” she said, cupping his cheek, “and you. Is that-is it really that hard to believe?”

Rate the Ship -

How long will they last? - These two are full-on set on driving into that sunset together, and this last until they’re old and gray.

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - It’s pretty fast for both. Sharky was a little love-struck if not during their initial intro, then shortly after, wondering who the hell this woman was, yelling Die Hard quotes while handing him molotovs, and why he didn’t have a chance to meet her sooner. Hana on the other hand was immediately charmed by his brand of absurdity, and after a week or two on the road, found she didn’t want to go a day without it. It didn’t take much longer for feelings to set in after that.

How was their first kiss? - Oh, it was a doozy. Entirely on accident, especially since she just wanted to thank him for always being sweet to her (and for finding coffee, b/c going without it’s been rough), and wanted to kiss his cheek. No big deal. She lays one right on his mouth instead, and the residual shock and the holy shit of it all makes her immediately exit stage left. The kiss they share later on down the line’s one she’s much more content with, b/c there’s no grey area, no doubting it at all, and the minute he returns it she’s almost overwhelmed by it. Sharky’s easily in the same boat, b/c this isn’t wishful thinking, or him hoping for something that isn’t there. It’s her wanting him, and once he can shut his mouth for longer than a few seconds at a time they get to making up for all the times they should’ve kissed before.

Wedding:

Who proposed? - Sharky! It’s years down the line, but he finds a way to make a ring for her, and after checking to see if it fits, immediately proposes to her on the spot.

Who is the best man/men? - There’s no official ceremony, but Sharky would’ve wanted Hurk there for it, if possible.

Who is the braid’s maid(s)? - Hana would’ve definitely asked Grace.

Who did the most planning? - Sharky! Hana had no damn clue what he had in mind, or was planning, but he actually managed to get a little misty-eyed while watching a proposal scene from one of her movie picks, so...

Who stressed the most? - Sharky. Though the poor guy didn’t get hit with most of it until he’d slipped the ring onto her finger.

How fancy was the ceremony? -

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - N/A (Hurk Sr. gets an honorary mention here, though)

Who is the one to instigate things? - They’re both equally guilty of this with varying degrees of subtlety, and Hana’s absolutely burst out laughing at a few of Sharky’s attempts, but always gets right to kissing him soon after.

How healthy is their sex life? -

Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - These two try to split this duty right down the middle.

Who is the stricter parent? - Hana, which is a feat. XD

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Also, Hana, b/c no matter what she and Sharky got up to before this, it’s really for the best that neither of the kids try to emulate that.

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - It’s a team effort, and any no-cult AU would totally involve Sharky handing bags of chips and jerky to each kid with Hana on his heels ready with a sandwich or two.

Who is the more loved parent? - They’re both pretty equal, but Gabby loves working with Sharky in the Pyrotechnics lab big-time, while Kiddo #2 loves racing around with Hana (and is a movie trivia buff in the making)

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? N/A - Hana would be dragged kicking and screaming to them and hate it.

Who cried the most at graduation? - N/A due to the Collapse, but Sharky might win this one. He certainly sheds a happy tear or two whenever the kids hand him gifts or show him cool things they’ve made, and any award they’d earn? Whoops, he’d be a goner.

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - Hana’s up to bat first going through legal avenues, but if she can’t manage to wing it, Sharky’s ready to step up to the plate.

Cooking:

Who does the most cooking? - They both would be take-out junkies, but Hana can make most of the basics.

Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Neither, really. She’d tease Sharky about deviating any from his jerky-heavy diet, though.

Who does the grocery shopping? - Probably Hana, but she’d drag him along for it too (and they’d race carts in the parking lot)

How often do they bake desserts? - Not frequently, but Hana would every once in a blue moon attempt a cake or brownies, and post-Collapse Sharky tries really hard to find a way to make that happen.

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - Meat, meat, meat.

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Sharky, and although he’s not much of a cook, he’ll save her extra desserts for their anniversary week. Once they’re out he tries to go a little fancier, though, and doesn’t burn things to a crisp 60-70% of the time?

Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Sharky.

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidentally while cooking? - Sharky.

Chores:

Who cleans the room? - They’re both messy, so they try to take turns with chores.

Who is really against chores? - Sharky. He’s not thrilled with any of it, but puts up with it since

Who cleans up after the pets? - They don’t start off with pets, but Hana can’t help but feed a stray cat or two once they get to the surface, and gladly takes care of any messes they make.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - Sharky, the sneak.

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Both would usually be okay, but Hana does stress a bit more about cleaning when a certain someone John tends to visit.

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Sharky would probably find the dollar while trying to sweep things under it, to be honest. XD

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Hana. It’s where she can unwind, and it only gets longer if she has company (which she usually hopes for and Sharky 100% delivers on)

Who takes the dog out for a walk? - If moments with Boomer count, Hana would totally go jogging with him, and did a few times while heading out on patrol.

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Hana’s a Halloween junkie, and loves throwing parties, so that's a must even when they don't have many actual decorations to hang. Sharky won't hesitate to help her find some prime picks, though, and can whip up some great ones in a jiffy.

What are their goals for the relationship? - Have the other’s back no matter what, and make the other the happiest they’ll ever be.

Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Sharky.

Who plays the most pranks? - Sharky.

She’d planned on one kiss only, but two and then three followed, until she had no choice but to break away.

“This isn’t over,” Hana said, shimmying her pants back up. “Don’t even begin to think that.”

He’d been in the middle of adjusting himself too, set on heading out with her, but hearing that brought out the brightest smile she’d seen from him yet. One she adored, and mentally kicked herself for not deciding to kiss him sooner.

I'm late to the party but the wips tag list... can you give me a peek at 'stargazing' 💜

You’re not too late at all, and I’m sorry to keep you waiting this long to begin with! I’ve been wanting to kick around a few more Hana/Sharky ideas that aren’t as plot heavy/game dependent, and seeing as Hana’s a big stargazing fan, she’d definitely want to take a moment or five to share that with Sharky.

I only have a small section of this one so far, especially since now I’m torn whether to skip ahead to when the two are actually together, or have bits of it before that point (to allow for maximum pining/flirting mind you), but hopefully once I clear out a few more WIPs I’ll be able to get back to this one soon! And actually make a solid choice, darn it.

“First off, you’ve got to assume the proper stargazing position.”

She clapped and rubbed her hands together, then spread her arms wide before falling back onto the blanket. The wool blanket cushioned most of it, and when she peered up at Sharky, she found him watching closely.

“Like so,” she said, flashing him a wink.

That got him moving, realization crossing his face as he scrambled to take a seat beside her. He gave a few half-hearted stretches – rolling his shoulders and puffing himself up as she bit her lip to keep from laughing – and finally flopped down to her right.

“Good?”

He’d left some space between them, but upon further inspection, scooted closer until his shoulder brushed against hers.

“You know it, shorty,” he replied, grinning over at her.

DISAGREEMENTS

Who is more likely to raise their voice? Sharky’s naturally a loud talker, but it’s more likely to be Hana here.

Who threatens to leave but never actually does? Neither. Sharky’s got a person that actually seems to actively want him around, and Hana’s got someone determined to have her back no matter what, and for either of these two, they’d never try to threaten that. Even if annoyances ever reached a peak, Hana would head off to cool her head, and Sharky would do the same – while probably setting off a controlled fire if he's able to get away with it.

Who actually keeps their word and leaves? Neither!

Who trashes the house? They’re both accidental house trashers, with Sharky’s tendency to call her over to show off something cool really a 50/50 shot that disaster’s about to strike.

Do either of them get physical? Absolutely not. There’s a playful swat to the shoulder at times, and Hana’ll poke a finger in his chest, but never to harm.

How often do they argue/disagree? It’s pretty uncommon, with most spats having to do with concern over being separated (this is a pretty big sticking point with Sharky), and the dangers of the cult. Then it’s minor stuff that’s almost petty, like practical safety, needing a fire extinguisher whenever fire’s involved, and someone deciding not to wear a seatbelt.

Who is the first to apologize? Sharky. It’s a knee-jerk reflex for him, unfortunately, and Hana works like hell to make sure he doesn’t try to shoulder that responsibility every time.

SEX

Who is on top? Neither are very picky, so while Hana may end up on top, they switch pretty frequently, and she loves having him up and over her too.

Who has the strangest desires? I honestly want to say they’re both pretty run of the mill here, but aside from a particular *coughs* item of Sharky’s that’s about it.

Any kinks? Nothing too out there, really. And that’s the extent of detail I feel like going into at this moment. XD

Who’s dominant in bed? Sharky’s all too glad to let Hana have the reins if she wants them.

Is head ever in the equation? Absolutely.

If so, who is better at performing it? *waggles eyebrows* Let’s just say that Hana’s happy Sharky’s comments proved to be pretty legit. And the fact that he’s all too eager and glad to doesn’t hurt one bit.

Ever had sex in public? Not intentionally...? Sneaking around the bunker’s the worst they get up to, along with trying to see how discrete they can be in a tent. The answer? Not very. And there might’ve been a time up at Moonflower where a night spent watching the stars got a little friskier than intended. Neither complained much, though.

Who moans the most? Both, because they’re awful.

Who leaves the most marks? Sharky’ll leave plenty without thinking twice about it.

Who is the more experienced of the two? They’re fairly equal, but Hana might edge him out here by a sliver.

Do they ‘fuck’ or ‘make love’? Make love. They’re total saps, so no matter what there’ll always be a soft edge to any fucking taking place.

Rough or soft? Mostly soft, but sometimes quick and rough’s just what the doctor ordered.

How long do they usually last? It comes down to how long they have, where they’re at, and how desperate they’re feeling, so it’ll vary plenty. But when they want it to last, they try their hardest to.

Is protection used? Hana’s got an implant to cover their bases, but they try to use condoms whenever they can find them.

Does it ever get boring? No, Sharky’s up for anything as long as she’s happy, and Hana’s determined to make him feel good in as many ways as humanly possible, so it’s on.

Where is the strangest place they’d have sex? I actually thought for a long time it would be the damn boathouse at John’s ranch, because the singing bass being there amused me too much not to (and that’s entirely where the boathouse idea for I won’t ask for much came from), but they may just surprise me yet. 

FAMILY

Do they plan on having children/or have children? Hana was on the fence about it for a while, worrying if she would even be a good influence to any kid she’d have (and always felt guilty that she gave her mother too much hell). But she grew more comfortable with the idea once she volunteered to babysit Carmina a couple of times, and after she and Sharky discussed it properly, making sure that nervous as they were, it was something they were actually on board with.

Sharky was much warmer to it at the start, but never knew if it’d be in the cards for him, and didn’t give it much thought until he caught Hana being adorable with Carmina too. But it stuck with him for a while until they sat down to talk it out.

If so, how many children do they want/have? They end up with a little girl that loves working in the explosives lab with her dad, named Gabby. Xena was their first pick, but Hana talked Sharky into going with Gabrielle instead, b/c she’s also a badass, and Xena Boshaw/Voy’s a little over the top. I’m actually thinking they might have a little boy as well, which was a bit of an epiphany the other night, but we’ll see where that leads!

(there’s also one another theoretical kid, but that involves Sir-Not-Appearing-In-This-Questionnaire, and maybe if I’m feeling ambitious later on, I’ll tackle this again for the three of them)

AFFECTION

Who likes to cuddle? Both! They’re constantly on the verge of cuddling before making it official, so the minute it happens, it’s an absolute free-for-all, taking all the comfort they can from having the other wrapped around them.

Who gets naughty in the most inappropriate of places? Sharky.

Who struggles to keep their hands to themself? Sharky.

How long can they cuddle until one becomes uncomfortable? It takes a lot for either to want to move, but Hana’s probably the first to say uncle, because after a while it’s like spooning an oven.

Who gives the most kisses? This might be pretty even as well, but Sharky loves giving her a small peck (and a bigger one if he can get away with it) whenever he’s coming and going, and it’s no surprise to Hana at all to be 100% focused on working only to have Sharky stop by and press a kiss to her hair.

What is their favourite non-sexual activity? Talking, and curling up for a movie marathon. They could seriously do that for hours on end, and if they can pull together a bunch for a theme, even better.

Where is their favourite place to cuddle? The room’s Hana’s renting out above the Eagle is likely the safest bet. Other than that, any place that’s able to give them more than five minutes of peace at a time.

How often do they get time to themselves? Not much as events keep on progressing, and things really amp up. But the moments that they can slip away, they always try to make count.

SLEEPING

Who snores? Sharky. Hana might a little from time to time, but it’s not common.

If both do, who snores the loudest? Sharky.

Do they share a bed or sleep separately? They totally share a bed.  They’ll share a sleeping bag, the floor, damn near anything.

If they sleep together, do they cozy up together or lay far apart? While it might not always start off that way at first, they’re magnets, with one or the other curled up close before the night’s out.

What do they wear to bed? Before they’re together, just regular things, but together, it’ll vary wildly depending on safety level. If they had their way, nothing much at all.

Are either of them insomniacs? Once things kick off, Hana’s sleeping patterns come dangerously close to this, keeping her up later and later as time goes on. With Sharky close however, it’s easier to relax and ease off of the thoughts that keep her up and they’ll often try to talk as much as possible, easing any nerves he’s feeling too. If he notices her shifting around and struggling to nod off, he’ll hold her close and rub her back, her shoulders, anything until he’s sure she’s managed to fall asleep. And even if she isn’t, he’ll try to stay awake with her as long as possible.

Can sleeping pills be found by the bedside? Nope! Hana would probably consider taking them if she had a prescription, though. Or if she could find any, but medicine’s pretty damn scarce.

Do they wrap their limbs around each other or just lay side by side? Someone’s getting wrapped up in the other, guaranteed.

Who wakes up with bed hair? Hana wins this, because she’s got more for one, and it’s infamously messy upon waking if she doesn’t tie it back.

Who wakes up first? It’s a toss up, but usually Hana, and it’ll be to check the radio or go over the maps she’s set on marking up.  

Who prepares breakfast in bed for the other? ‘Breakfast’ is oftentimes a pack of jerky or a snack bar, but Hana will try to surprise Sharky with them as soon as he’s awake, while he’ll try to hunt her down some coffee.

What is their favourite sleeping position? They’ll curl up next to each other, only to become a tangle as the night goes on. Or until someone’s got an arm or leg that’s fallen asleep.

Do they set an alarm each night? If they have a clock nearby, Hana will try and set one, and tries to limit smacking the snooze button to once or twice.

Can a television be found in their bedroom? In the bunker when they’re able to borrow one, they do. There’s nothing like being able to kick back with a movie, only to either fall asleep or get a little frisky during it.

Who has nightmares? Hana. They’re not persistent, but there’s a period of time where she’s unable to sleep through the night only to have that waiting for her.  

Who has ridiculous dreams? Both, but Sharky wins this one.

Who sprawls out and takes up most of the bed? Both, but Sharky’s actually pushed her out of bed while resting before, and much as she’s teased him about it, he did warn her.  

Who makes the bed? …Neither.

What time is bed time? Anytime they’re too dead on their feet to do anything else.

Any routines/rituals before bed? Nothing fancy, though if they have access to a shower, they’ll definitely try and use that to unwind.

Who’s the grumpiest when they wake up? Hana, because leaving a warm cozy bed, with an even warmer, cozier person in it’s not easy at all.

Who is the busiest? Hana.

Who rakes in the highest income? Hana.

Are any of them unemployed? Sharky’s got spells where he is, but tries to find work when he can and when people will take him.

Who takes the most sick days? Sharky doesn’t get sick days with most of the jobs he takes, and Hana tries not to use hers a bunch, so that would probably go to her by default?

Who is more likely to turn up late to work? Sharky, probably due to accidentally sleeping through any alarm he’d set.

Who sucks up to their boss? …Hana. Not that she’s trying, but she really doesn’t want to make a bad impression on Whitehorse, and the moment he tells her to relax and ease off a little because she’s doing fine, she’s more than a little mortified.

What are their jobs? Junior Deputy and unofficially Local Pyro/Fire Enthusiast.

Who stresses the most? They both downplay the things that are stressing them, Sharky more so than her which isn’t great, but I think Hana’s more overt about it.  

Do they enjoy or despise their careers/occupations? Sharky’s pretty enthusiastic about what he loves, and Hana’s happy enough to see what it’s like in her mother’s shoes, but it’s a lot to live up to, and she’s trying.

Are they financially stable? What with their current situation being as it is, they’re doing pretty okay for themselves.

HOME

Who does the washing? It’s a switch off! Though Hana takes point, and wonders how the hell Sharky always seems to run out of underwear so fast.

Who takes out the trash? They do it pretty regularly, but only after drawing straws for it.

Who does the ironing? *laughs* Hana hasn’t seen an iron since her last hotel stay, and any iron Sharky has has likely been repurposed for any of a number of his extracurricular activities.

Who does the cooking? They switch off even though they’re both pretty rowdy in the kitchen, but Sharky’s actually pretty good at cooking over fires, and she’s decent enough at reading the instructions on stuff before nuking them in the microwave, so it’s not a total disaster.

Who is more likely to burn the house down just trying? Sharky, Sharky, Sharky. Hana’s had some fun times with unattended cigarettes too, but she’s trying to do better, darn it.

Who is messier? It’s close, but Sharky.

Who leaves the toilet roll empty? Sharky. (Hana: :-/)

Who leaves their dirty clothes on the floor? Both of them are equally guilty.

Who forgets to flush the toilet? Let’s be real, Sharky would, but it’s a work in progress.

Who is the prankster around the house? Sharky gets the edge up on her, but Hana’s also a decent contender here.

Who loses the car keys when it comes time to go somewhere? Hana. She’ll feel for every pocket, thinking it’s the right one only to realize she’d left them in the very spot she swore she’d never forget. One time Sharky did have them, however, and sticking her hand in his pocket to check while he was teasing her about losing them shut him up pretty quickly.

Who mows the lawn? Honestly, neither. But if he did, she’d get in more than a little watching during it.

Who answers the telephone? Hana.

Who does the vacuuming? Either if they remember to do it.

Who does the groceries? It would’ve been Hana, mostly because while she could eat her weight in pizza, snack cakes, and burgers, it’d probably send her straight to an early grave if she wasn’t careful.

Who takes the longest to shower? Hana, and if she gets a hold of him, they’ll stay in there until the hot water runs out, easy.

MISCELLANEOUS

Is money a problem? No, not with the direction things end up heading.

How many cars do they own? Ideally Hana would have a motorcycle (she sold hers to help make the move easier), and possibly a car to go with that. Sharky would also have a very ancient and beat up sedan, but the poor thing didn’t survive the cult’s nonsense. Hell, it barely survived him.

Do they own their home or do they rent? I’m not sure if Sharky officially owns his house or just rents from Adelaide, but once they’re able to head out of the bunker, it’s all free real estate. Hana had an apartment, but that went up pretty quickly once things went south.

Do they live in the city or in the country? Country. Hana misses the city, but the change was sorely needed.

Do they enjoy their surroundings? Sharky’s lived there his whole life, and likes it well enough. Hana’s trying to get used to the quiet, and the smaller numbers of people she runs into, but it’s a needed change. The city was getting to her for a while, and having time and space to think and breathe was the way to go even if she did do it on impulse.

What’s their song? There’s definitely more than a few! And this isn’t all of them either.

What do they do when they’re away from each other? Miss the other terribly. Hana checks calls to see where there’s an area that might need her, and tries to stay busy just so her brain won’t go into overdrive. Sharky talks to Hurk and Adelaide (and Nick over at 8-bit), sneaks back up to Moonflower every now and then, tinkers with his flamethrower, and makes a boatload of explosives. There might be more than a little joyriding involved, but that’s entirely to go on a…testing run. He’s got to see if what he’s making actually works, right?

Where did they first meet? Right at Moonflower when Hana charged on in only to wonder what on earth this guy was doing, lighting everything in sight on fire with a smile a mile wide.

Who spends the most money when out shopping? Sharky, probably would’ve. Mostly because he’ll impulse shop like no one’s business, and grabs beer, handfuls of chips, jerky, lighter fluid, matches, etc.

Who’s more likely to flash their assets? Sharky. Mostly on accident because he’ll strip down at a second’s notice. Not that she’s complaining.

Who finds it amusing when the other trips over themselves? Hana loves the moments when he gets tongue-tied, and he gets an equal shot in whenever he aims a compliment at her. Now, Hana’s a bit more danger-prone in terms of actual mishaps (she’s fallen out of a window, almost driven off of a cliff, sprinted down a ravine, etc), but once it’s determined that everything’s fine, they both get in a solid laugh.

Any mental issues? Anxiety, depression, varying levels of ADHD, and a few others I haven’t nailed down directly.

Who’s terrified of bugs? Hana’s a bit, but it all comes down to which kind.

Who kills the spiders around the house? Hana would prefer Sharky did at times, but he’s got...’methods’ of doing so that might not be the best. Hairspray and a lighter, included.

Their favourite place? Watching the stars up at Moonflower, and the room above the Spread Eagle.

Who pays the bills? Hana’s got a more stable income, so she would’ve front-loaded it, and also remembered the deadlines, but Sharky would pony up the cash as soon as he has it.

Do they have any fears for their future? They both mainly live in the present, but much as she’d like to deny it, Hana’s terrified of Joseph being right. Of the end, of being wrong and being the one to doom them.

Sharky’s main fear that he tries to keep buried deep is being abandoned. Of losing his family and Hana during any point of this, and being the only one left on keep on going.

Who’s more likely to surprise the other with a fancy dinner? Define fancy. Because Sharky’s ambushed her on the road with a bottle of home-brewed liquor, three packs of jerky, and a couple of snack cakes before, and Hana hardly gave him a chance to say something before she’d tackled him and kissed him all over.

But in all seriousness, Sharky would attempt it, and pair it with a movie he’s 99% sure she’s already seen and would be fine with watching again for the fiftieth time, and she’d love every second of it.

Who’s the tallest? Sharky.

Who’s more likely to just randomly hop into the shower with the other? A little of H, and a little of S. They both love taking the chance when it’s possible. Even if Sharky’s shower has no business having two people in it.

Who wanders around in their underwear? Both, the only difference is that Hana tends to limit that to the times where it’s just the two of them one-on-one. Sharky’s nowhere near as restrained or self-conscious.

Who sings the loudest when singing along to the radio? Sharky beats her out by a sliver, but it’s always a joint effort, and Hana loves it.

What do they tease each other about? Anything’s really fair game between them since it never gets mean. He loves ragging on her about her cold hands (and holding them) and her driving. She loves poking at him about his need to boogie (and waits a solid minute before trying to join in), and how he can’t whisper to save his life. But the one time he joked about revoking her ‘Brian’ card due to drifting them straight into a ditch, she was not having. :’)

Who is more likely to cringe at the other’s fashion sense at times? Hana, though it’s mostly to get him wearing anything other than his hoodie of choice some days. 1) it needs to be washed, and 2) it’ll fall apart at the rate he wearing it (and the things he’s dodging)

Who crushed first? Sharky. It took him very little time, but was one of those ‘Man, I think you’re neat, but we’re friends, and I’m not into you unless you’d be cool with me being into you. But...would you totally be cool with me being into you, because I’d love if it if you were’ type moments, and this was just his internal narrative for a long while.. He also strikes me as the kind of person that easily gets friend-crushes, so the flirting’s easy enough to downplay until someone actually shows interest and he fumbles through it even harder. Hurk’s also cornered him more than once on this subject and given him the talk, but not a single one’s been successful.

Hana is equally guilty of friend crushes, except she’s more than willing to cram herself into the denial corner for as long as possible, which leads to this simmering for an absurd amount of time.

Any alcohol or substance related problems? They both drink, Sharky more than her by far, but it’s still within semi-reasonable levels.

Who is more likely to stumble home, drunk, at 3am? Both of them together. It’s a joint effort, because no good round of karaoke’s possible without it!

Who swears the most? Sharky. It’s just flows right out of him without even trying.

1) who can outdrink the other?

Hana would try, but honestly Sharky would drink her under the table, and probably still be sober right around the time she’d offer to sing along to the next song on the jukebox no matter what’s next on rotation. And then proceed to dance to it too, all while Sharky’s trying and failing to wipe a stray tear from his eye.

2) who says “i love you” more?

This’ll have to go to Sharky. Once it’s official, he doesn’t have much trouble saying it, though he’ll often go for other ways of voicing his affection, usually with the sappiest grin on his face, and she loves every moment of it.

Hana’s a little more restrained with it. Not that she isn’t feeling anything as strongly as he is, but it’s easier to show him and to touch him rather than let it slip out. But she’s also been 100% guilty of dropping it on him in the middle of sex, so...in the heat of the moment anything goes.

3) who has trouble sleeping alone?

While the two can, and have, slept alone, neither enjoy it. It’s an empty space that becomes glaringly apparent unless someone’s there talking, resting, or snoring nearby, so even if they’re not sleeping side by side with someone, having that other presence helps. And with the other, once night falls they’ll always find the other fast, feeling content knowing the other’s never more than a few inches away.

4) who swears more?

Sharky, easy. Hana’s got no hope of reaching his record, though she’s not far behind.

5) who does more of the housework?

They try to make it an even split, but for the more annoying chores they’ll rock/paper/scissors it.

6) who forgets their anniversary?

They’re both guilty of this, because with everything going on at the time, neither remember the exact day that Hana said ‘fuck it’ and finally decided to jump Sharky’s bones. But they do have a decent guess as to which week it was, and it’s one of the first things that Hana marks down on their calendar in the bunker. And having an entire week to celebrate the other? Pretty damn awesome in their book.

7) who steals the duvet in their sleep?

Hana’s going to snag it, and turn into the most airtight burrito ever. There’s no hope of Sharky getting it back.

8) who keeps the other awake at night with their snoring?

Sharky. Not enough to get her to leave the room, but some nights she’ll jostle the bed to see if that’ll help. It’s pretty hit or miss.

9) who finds stray animals and begs the other to let them keep them?

While Hana rescued Boomer, Cheeseburger, and Peaches during the game,   outside of that, there’s a decent chance she would try to attract a stray cat or two by leaving out food to feed them. Sharky wouldn’t really have a problem with that since he’s left some food out himself once or twice...but after repelling a furious skunk, he decided it really wasn’t worth it. Especially when they end up getting into the pizza boxes left by the firepit anyway.

10) who usually makes dinner?

Hana takes point with Sharky providing ample backup/fire support. It’s a passable affair with what’s available, but she can heat up a can of beans over a fire no problem. Anything fancier than that’s..debatable.

11) who plays their music out loud?

Sharky, Sharky, Sharky. This is the man that has a full-blown surround sound system set up at Moonflower, with everything cranked to the highest volume possible just so he could have some tunes to jam to while messing with the Angels. He’s got her absolutely beat. .

12) who hogs the bathroom?

They’re both pretty even, though Hana will absolutely hog the shower if there’s hot water to be used (and if she stays in there long enough, there’s a good chance Sharky might find his way in there with her too)

13) who gives the most compliments?

Sharky. It took zero prompting before they were together to do it, and after he’s just as enthusiastic about it. He’ll open his mouth and dive right into the most absurd statement ever, talking about how cool she is, how she should have three movies made about her, and she’ll immediately go three shades darker because he’s not even done yet.

14) who usually starts/causes arguments between them?

Hana. It’s not intentional, but she refuses to let him follow her into certain situations and places, and on the off-chance that leads to her getting caught that’s like a knife to the gut for him every time.

15) who isn’t afraid to embarrass the other in public?

Sharky, though unintentionally. He wants to put a smile on her face, and won’t hesitate to say or do everything he can to make it happen, which unfortunately means that Hana’s been the victim of a spit-take more times than she ever hoped to be. But she also laughed her ass off afterwards, so mission accomplished, Sharky.

16) who gives the other cringeworthy pet names?

Sharky has a field day with them. Most don’t ever go beyond the bedroom though, especially when Hana’s laughing too hard to take any of them seriously.

17) who fusses over the other when they get sick?

If anything dared to bowl Sharky over for longer than ten minutes at a time, Hana wouldn’t stop until she’d found anything and everything he could possibly need to start getting better asap.

But Sharky’s really no better, considering he barreled into Nick and Kim’s place when Hana was on the verge of collapsing, and refused to leave her side until she was able to get up and move around on her own again.

18) who finds it impossible to stay angry at the other for long?

Hana. While Sharky will apologize first, she has no hope of ever staying mad or holding a grudge for long when it comes to him.

19) who clings to the other for comfort when they’re sad or scared?

Hana. She’ll grope for Sharky’s arm whenever things go to absolute hell or they’re about to, and even when she’s not directly reaching for him, he’s already moving towards her, so he’s never too far to reach.

20) who is more ‘physically passionate’? (hugs, kisses, or maybe more…)

They’re both pretty awful with this. Once the switch is flipped, and these two are well on the same page, Hana’s reaching for his hand, leaning on him, and standing up on her toes to get a kiss, all while Sharky’s half-draping himself all over her whenever the two are able to stop and breathe for more than five minutes at a time.

To any and all people they travel with they’d like to apologize, and do try to tone it down a little if they’re not exactly in private (sorry, Grace) , but they’re way too giddy and eager to really keep much of it contained for long.

3, 10, 14 for sweet sweet hana and sharky please ♡♡♡ (i am restraining myself and trying not to scream GIVE ME EVERYTHIIIIIING for those two, haha)

Oh my goodness. So, I was soft for them before, but this isn’t helping at all. (also,❤️! I’m this close to just doing it anyway, darn it)

3. Who snuggles up to who? 

It’s almost an even split here, with Sharky nudging her out only by a hair. And as time goes on (and they finally decide to be honest with each other about what’s brewing between them), those moments when he’ll reach for her always seem to come when she needs it the most.

Hana could be doing anything (sorting through her bags, checking rations, fighting with the map, etc), and Sharky will start by perching his chin on her shoulder to see what she’s doing, only to work his way up to wrapping his arms around her while she keeps on working. Normally, she’ll want to drop everything immediately after this to lean right into it and hold onto that comfort tight. But if she’s really busy, she’ll still stop long enough to give him a kiss on a cheek, and keep on going, chatting with him all the while until she’s sure she can break away from the task to give him a little extra affection anyway. She waited way too long for the chance before, and like hell is she going to miss any more after.

10. Who rests their head against their partner’s chest? 

Due to height, totally Hana. If there’s a quiet moment, or she’s feeling tired, she’ll lean right into him, face against that absurd green hoodie of his, and listen to his heartbeat. It’s one of the most soothing things to her, just being able to hear that. Though Sharky’s just as likely to pull her close to do the same while she’s standing up and he’s sitting down. It gives her a great excuse to run her fingers through his hair, and to catch the goofy grin that earns.

14. Do they cuddle before they fall asleep together? 

Absolutely. Even when they’re exhausted and absolutely beat they’ll reach for each other, passing out in the most awkward arrangement possible, and ending up with the worst aches ever upon waking up. If they have more time and energy, however, they’ll definitely spend plenty of time cuddling and talking beforehand, and if they’re cuddling, there’s a very good chance (like 85-90% easy) that’ll lead right into sex. All while keeping the same conversation going, mind you.

9. Who traces hearts onto the other’s skin?

Sharky. Hana’s got quite a few freckles, and he’ll trace any and all kinds of small shapes on her to see what he’ll come up with using them. They’re always a stretch, but when he breaks it down, trying to show her even, she’s always left laughing and lighter for the time spent trying to see it through his eyes.

She’s a little beside herself when he does trace a heart at one point, however. And it’s not just one, but a set, and can’t help but kiss him mid-explanation once she’s sure of it.

Hana. It was a habit that took her by surprise before they were together, reaching for him to make sure he was looking right at her before doing something highly questionable - or to preempt him doing the very same thing. And he’d lean into it just long enough for her to not want to take her hand away.
