Okay so basically  this is their most recent album, 2014, and it follows the Killjoys as they fight against BL.IND (Better Living Industries) who seek to ELIMINATE all  individuality. (Spoiler: They die saving The Girl in the music video for SING)

Uh so this is sorta less fast and stuff but its SO cool and idk how to describe it but its sorta jaunty? First song I listened to by the band!!! (Fav part is ‘and tho, I know, how much you hate this. Bokuto shook his head and grabbed your arm, guiding you into the house and onto the living room couch. He cautiously sat beside you, keeping himself at a safe distance, as you settled yourself onto the seat.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

You swallowed the lump in your throat and stared at your hands. "I don't like how I handled things," you said. "You don't deserve that."

"No I don't," Bokuto agreed. "But what are you doing here? At three in the morning?"

"I got on the night train to Tokyo," you said. "Because I wanted to talk to you."

"You could have called—"

"I could have," you chuckled dryly. "But after all the shit I pulled on you, it didn't seem right."

Bokuto shifted uncomfortably, not quite familiar with the awkwardness between the two of you. He cleared his throat. "So talk."

You raised a brow and looked at him, catching a glimpse of his golden eyes, a noticeable weariness to his expression.

"You came here to talk," he said. "So... talk?"

"Right," you nodded, pulling yourself together. "I've been an asshole."

Bokuto frowned. "If you're going to talk," he said. "I'd rather you to not belittle the girl I'm in love with."

You rolled your eyes. Of course, after every stupid thing you'd done to him, he would still be desperately in love with you.

"It's the truth," you said. "I've been an asshole and you know it."

"Well, yeah," he conceded. "So tell me why."

"I just," you paused, realizing this was the first time you'd actually considered your feelings out loud. "I just feel like I don't deserve to be in your life, alright?"

Before Bokuto could interject, you continued.

"Everyone keeps telling me that this thing," you looked at your casted leg, "is just an injury. But it isn't."

"It is," Bokuto insisted.

You shook your head. "What if I never get to skate again?" you said. "Sure, the leg will be good as new in six weeks but it won't be the same thing it was before. What if it changes things? What if I can't handle that change? It's happened to people who were better than me, why would I be special?"

Bokuto shifted slightly closer to you. You went on.

"If I end up failing and becoming nothing, I won't deserve you," you told him. "If this is it—if, for the rest of our lives, you're going to be this amazing person who just keeps going on and doing what he wants and I'm just the person holding you back—if this is it, then I'm out. I know you don't deserve that. You don't deserve a has-been."

You fiddled with your fingers, the weight of your words filling the air.

"So what if you quit skating?"

You narrowed your eyes at Bokuto. "What?"

"So what?" he repeated. "Your life isn't about one thing, you aren't about one thing. I love you for so much more than that tiny part of your life. I love you for you."

He scooted closer until his face was right in front of yours. "If this is it," he said. "If, for the rest of our lives, I get to love you... I won't want anything else."

You frowned. "But you're going to be successful and I'm gonna be a dud."

Bokuto laughed, bring a hand to cup your cheeks. "Screw success!" he exclaimed. "Being happy with you means more to me than any volleyball award. I want my greatest success to be us."

You leaned into his touch. "You mean it?"

And he smiled. "Of course."

𝐚/𝐧 : AAAAAAAAA IT'S DONEEEE!!!!! i mean there's an epilogue going up tomorrow but we're just gonna pretend that doesn't exist for now:D i hope this wasn't a bad ending:< i didn't want it to seem rushed, but i felt like if i prolonged the agony for another chapter, everyone (including me) would be so sick of my melodramatic writing. so yea!! that's the official end but there's a tiny tiny epilogue to end things on a sweet note coming out tomorrow. it's been so much fun reading everyone's responses to this series so big fat kisses to you all for sticking around. i'm rambling now but yea this has been a blast<33

Tina watches (and cries) MODC Ep. 8 (Ep. 15 & 16 to some) Hao Ting x Xi Gu scenes

Note: I talk about Zhi Gang and Bo Xiang on a separate post because each CP deserved their long essay.

OK. BITCH. WHATT!!!!!!!!!!! I literally have to hold back screaming out loud watching this episode (because it was midnight here and everyone was asleep). This is such a good episode. 

Ok, first of all, I love how Hao Ting is thirsty as fck for Xi Gu. It’s very realistic and I literally gasped at every moment the show emphasized it. Yong Ching saying that the door should be kept open at all times, and Hao Ting arguing back and closing the door for like a fraction and saying, “just leave it like this!” I WHEEZED JHSDFBSDBD IT DOESN’T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE BOO. 

We all just got to love Hao Ting’s friends. They’re very supportive of Hao Ting and they try their best to cheer him up. That has always been the case from the start, but in the recent episodes especially this one, they actually show us that they’re supportive friends rather than cronies. I love how these boys are given as much character and is just a great support system for Hao Ting and his relationship.

The episode also emphasized a lot on how important to Xi Gu that Hao Ting makes it to the Top 5 university as well. Although he says that they’re not together yet, but it seems like he respects Hao Ting’s parents’ wish so much that he won’t allow Hao Ting to slack off so they can actually be together. Fully consented this time. Yu Xi Gu is probably doing this for his parents as well. Getting Hao Ting’s parents’ permission will be like having his own parents’ permission as well.

When Hao Ting went to Xi Gu to celebrate his birthday. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA that was a moment. Xi Gu praying for the well being of his aunt and his friends (yes, they’re actually his friends now I’m crying) is so touching. Xi Gu used to have no one and now he has a very caring boyfriend and supportive friends (ಥ﹏ಥ)

And we got to talk about that handjob scene. IT LOOKS SO FCKING REALISTIC I WAS SO SHOCKED HSFVBJASDA nobody warned me OHMYGOD. The only thing missing in that scene to make it real is if they would really take their actual d*cks out. I was expecting some sort of sex scene (like the one with Zhi Gang and Bo Xiang) but somehow, it felt more intense????? I was like (╯ಠ_ಠ）╯︵ ┳━┳ the whole time, probably because of the panting lmao Hao Ting was so delirious and he just unknowingly corrupted poor innocent Xi Gu. It may be the first time Xi Gu thinks about these kind of things so please Hao Ting, be a little more patient.

AND YES!!!!!!!!! HAO TING PASSED CENTRAL UNI!!! THAT’S OUR BOY!!! I just choked at Zhi Gang reminding them that he’s there because Hao Ting looked one second away from actually eating Xi Gu lmaooo I’m also so fcking delighted that they didn’t drag the studying for university part to the next episode. I’m actually shocked that they solved it in one episode! And we’re back at him being just so so so thirsty for Xi Gu. He’s actually planning their first time AAAAAAAAA my baby doing it right. Take that Bo Xiang! 

Also Hao Ting giving zero fucks to his major as long as he can live with Xi Gu is peak dumbass culture. I’m sorry y’all. It’s not like I’m mad at it. Hao Ting is perfectly understandable. He might not be thinking about college at all before Xi Gu entered his life, but kids, please choose your major wisely. It’s not good to base your college choices on a relationship. Not because I’m assuming teenage relationships are fickle or superficial, but rather, college is something for yourself. What you will study is a prospect for how you want to be in the future. And only you should get to decide on that. Having the, “I don’t care what I study for college, I just need to get it done” thinking is setting yourself to fail. (I’m sorry I’m quite sensitive about this because I based my college choice on what my parents want and wasted 2 years of my life depressed before I actually had the courage to change my program to what I really like)

Other than that, I think this episode was perfect! I was expecting some sort of downtime and more plot development and character interactions in this episode. But I was surprised they actually managed to do that while making every second worth the watch! NOW I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE DOUBLE DATE AAAAAAAAA

Pokémon FireRed Nuzlocke [Part 13]

Once again back at the Bill Gaiden, we continue our quest to beat the game without any grinding.

The current take on this problem is to focus on only three members of the team in the final chapter. Plus prayer and possibly lots of X items I haven’t bought yet.

Rock Smash get, and Oak is gonna learn it for us. As our last real run taught us, Krabby is the best for HMs. Nom nom.

Sap is handling all of the Fighting trainers on this first island here. Seems prudent, given the choices involved. Plus my expectations of Sap. Sap has, by far, the largest role in my eventual plans. My child. You must take your amazing moves. Use them. And sweep all the things.

My Mt. Ember option is a Fearow, and I just can’t. I have two things that aren’t a Master Ball, I think. Sorry, Fearow. We were not meant to be.

Except Trunk can’t run from you. So I might be considering catching you.

-sigh- I tried to skip into Three Island, but it looks like you have to talk to NPCs to hit off the Biker Gang part of the Bill Gaiden. This run, having been a shrine to defeatism, didn’t bother with talking with most everyone. The cost is island hopping. Much sad. Very annoy.

Not a bad place to be in. Not close enough to feeling safe, but I think this has the potential to go better than Heero’s term.

Final badge. Let’s go. For added fun, I won’t even follow my map of the trainers inside the Gym. I’ll just go by guessing based on the trainer type.

Oak is level 52, Sap and Trunk are level 50. Good show, guys.

I’m going to miss not having an Electric type available for the Pidgeot. And for the Gyarados. Acorn, Zaft. Your presence would be so valuable here.

I think I’m going to put Oak in front for that. Rival has enough to respond to Oak that any Sand Attacks can be swapped out. Wanting Oak for two fights in a row probably won’t happen. Hopefully.

My amusement is slowly being replaced by existential dread.

Oh, neat. The Pidgeot goes for Wing Attack instead of the awful sand. Thank you, Rival-san’s Pidgeot. I hate you and everything, but you’re a class act.

Trunk goes in for the Venusaur. It of level 53.

Hell, though. That is not a confidence boost. The levels keep reminding me how tight this really is, and I’m very short on Type variety. I know my main strategy, which I didn’t use here, is going to be massively setting up before anything else, but aaaaaaaaa.

I don’t want to go through all of this again. I’m not good enough at the game to reliably improve.

On the side of things I can do, I’m going to teach Trunk Earthquake.

And it looks very much like it makes sense for Oak to learn Ice Beam. He still has Tackle, for crying out loud. There’s room for improvement. The only problem is that hey, I still want Shadow Ball for Trunk, and guess what other TM is also a Game Corner thing?

In the spirit of bad things not happening maybe, I’m going to grab those TMs before Victory Road. No point limiting myself. I am also going to look up if I can get the Amulet coin and make some extra money, because the money situation ended up making me sad by the end of Heero and friends.

I’m about to spend all my cash, so this is my last chance for move decisions.

I usually like something to know Toxic. Oak’s the best candidate for that in terms of an incomplete moveset, but I have a Dragon Claw TM that has similar value and can’t be wasted on Trunk or Sap.

I think this works, honestly. Oak for all things turtle, Sap for all things stall, and Trunk for miscellaneous everything. I can adjust after each one I beat. I have some interesting TMs I can play with, but for now, I think this is good.

What I need to think through is what X items I want. Then the rest goes into Full Restores. ...Oh. The X items are cheap, so I just buy a bunch without thinking it through.

Okay, looking back over my records, I think I’m going to teach Trunk Brick Break over Yawn, use an X Attack, and go for the sweep.

Two X Attacks, because I’m greedy. Dewgong down. It’s now Hailing. Have fun countering, Leftovers.

The Cloyster gets to the red with one Brick Break. Lorelei uses a Full Restore. Many stall tactics later, the Cloyster is downed with not much more of a mark on Trunk.

Slowbro next, but Shadow Ball should make that work. The hail stops, too, which is nice.

Yeesh, these things have high Defense. Slowbro’s in the red, uses Surf. Trunk is still green, but nearing half steadily. One more Shadow Ball, and the Slowbro’s gone. No Full Restore for it.

Lapras.

Brick Break puts it in the red, but it has a Sitrus Berry. I probably knew that from last time, but we’re really all about living in the moment, this run.

Lapras leaves Trunk in the high orange, but it’s out. Just the Jynx left. Going to spend a turn on a Potion just to keep things stable, then a Shadow Ball should mark the end of this.

And now Trunk is in love with it. In between being put to sleep.

Sap’s up. Because this is going to take a bunch of switching, I think I’ll try to stick with straight Sludge Bombing for as long as I can. Sap’s got a better Attack stat than Trunk at the moment (I think), so it shouldn’t be too rough.

Yeah, one Sludge Bomb puts Hitmonchan practically in the red, and Sky Uppercut doesn’t move Sap anywhere near orange.

All of Dragon Rage’s PP later, Toxic can’t hit anything apparently, and it’s a contest of Biting. Cute.

THEN IT USES HYPER BEAM AND THE HYPER BEAM, NATURALLY, GETS A CRITICAL HIT, AND OAK HAS 15 HP AS HE LANDS THE FINAL BITE TO KILL THE FUCKER.

I think the main problem here is that if I open with Oak, the Venusaur pops out, and any preparation I do during the Pidgeot round will vanish. That makes Trunk that more appealing option for an opener.

Pidgeot, Gyarados, Arcanine, Alakazam, Rhydon (?), Venusaur.

If it wouldn’t mean the Venusaur coming out, I’d just let Oak handle everything. Maybe I ought to do that anyway, and just accept that I’ll be bleeding more X Defends than I want in this fight.

Actually, wait.

Okay, no... I don’t think that’s a good move. I was thinking I could teach Oak Calm Mind for some extra boosting, and it’s not a bad thought, but.

...Actually, yeah?

Gyarados and Arcanine both have Intimidate, but Oak has Special Attack as its primaries. If I use up some X Defends on the Pidgeot to leave room for Calm Mind... the only problem would be if the Pidgeot has Whirlwind. But if it did, that would be a separate issue anyway. I can’t smash through without setup.

Max Calm Minding should make it possible for Oak to survive long enough to nail the Venusaur with Ice Beam. Barring critical hit problems. That limits the pain of removing Bite, too. If Oak’s Special is all maxed, the particular move matters less.

Done, do it.
