⋆ ◦ ° ☾ event 01. the masquerade.

halloween has come and passed, but the city council of valdez is not letting it stop them; a belated celebration, if you will. it’s an annual tradition for the city hall of valdez to hold a big ball on halloween night. considering this year halloween’s was in the middle of the week, they decided to move the party to the weekend, making sure as many people can attend to it as possible. 

a masquerade, where all guests must show up in formal dressing and their faces hidden away. a recipe for disaster in a town such as valdez, but the government couldn’t care less about the repercussion of their actions. every citizen in town is invited to the party, the promise of good music and expensive drinks written in gold on the invitation sent to the locals. but keep in mind--- no one will be allowed inside the ballroom unless they have their mask on !

WHEN: the event starts this FRIDAY, november 2nd, and ends SUNDAY, november 4th.  WHERE: the ballroom of valdez’s city hall.  WHO: everyone in town.

EVENT 01: Halloween Masquerade

Loosely based off of Anastasia (b/c headcanon: she was into that stuff back in the day)

⋆ ◦ ° ☾ event update. the masquerade.

despite the deaths plaguing valdez in recent weeks, the people governing over valdez made the executive decision of ignoring all of it, going through with the masquerade as if nothing had happened. they knew some wouldn’t be happy with such decision, but they had never expected any form of retaliation for the disrespect towards balthazar caito’s death. they truly should’ve known better. 

a little after midnight, a body was found--- so badly hurt that the witnesses who called 911 has mistaken it for a dead one; the person has since been identified as VALARIE HAWKINS, a thirty-two year old civilian nurse. ms. hawkins was brutally attacked in front of city hall, beaten to near death by a group of people that managed to escape before police arrived. by standers recognized two of the four assailants, one being DEMETRIA CAITO, a book keeper for the savages, and the other GRIFFITH CARLISLE, who is rumored to also work for the gang.

ms. caito and mr. carlisle were both detained by the police later that same night, but have since been released due to a lack of evidence of their involvement with the assault. ms. hawkins’ health is stable, currently under the care of the local hospital with police standing guard outside of her room, but many don’t believe valarie to have been a premeditated target, but rather someone who was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time--- the attack, however, was a warning sign for anyone who’s willing to listen: you don’t disrespect the savages without paying for it in BLOOD.

good afternoon friends!!! i hope you guys are enjoying the event!! we will be posting a small little event plot update for all of you either TONIGHT or TOMORROW MORNING, but first us admins need something from you!! for the update we are going to need two volunteers to be involved in the update, sounds fun, right?? WELL before you step up and volunteer know we are only looking for ONE civilian volunteer and ONE volunteer from the SAVAGES -- who must either be either a soldier, special operative or a bounty hunter in order to volunteer!! please note that by volunteering you will not know that we intend to keep the civilian character in the dark and inform the savage volunteer of what is going to happen. please send an ASK with your character’s name ( not on anon! ) to the main in order to be put into a random generator for this small plot drop!!!
