That they did! Wasn't even the most insane thing either. They almost confiscated it because some kids were convinced it was a vape and tried to "tell on me" when I told them they couldn't have it. I had to pull out the actual medication part out of the tube thingy and show them the prescription label with my name on it.
We also weren't supposed to bring any medication at all to school, without the office holding it. This was supposedly to prevent drug problems, but in reality it just made a policy they could barely enforce. My parents made enough of a fuss that they left my brother and I alone [he had an epipen just in case] but there were lots of issues. It even extended to stuff like Tylenol or Aleve, the latter of which I took during my period because the pains were so bad. Not being able to have anything extra to help midday made it;;; rough.
It didn't even work by the way. Kids were smoking weed out back well before it was legal. Also they drank back there a lot.
