FIFA announces a Women's Confederation Cup to be held at the end of 2018 | 19.12.2017

Atlético de Madrid and Santa Fe will play for the Copa Hispanoamericana on January 31 | 23.11.2017

“There is no place for women in football” | 03.10.2017

Konak Belediyespor is the first women’s football club in Turkey to win the league 5 times in a row and earn a star to put on their badge and Turkish Football Federation is yet to pay their championship premium, 50.000 TL (turkish lira), since May.

Football is the most popular sport in Turkey. But unfortunately women’s football is not supported enough by both fans and authorities.

Konak, who have won Women’s 1st League five times in a row, became the first Turkish women’s football club to put a star on their badge. They also achieved to reach the Round of 16 in 2013/14 UEFA Women’s Champions League. But apparently TFF doesn’t care about any of that. The federation is yet to pay the club’s championship prize since May and the club managers couldn’t contact anyone to solve the problem.

CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina - PARAGUAY 2017 RESCHEDULING OF MATCHES | 09.10.2017

The Directorate of Competitions of the South American Confederation of Soccer announces that it has decided to postpone for 72 hours the continuation of the CONMEBOL Women's Libertadores 2017 in Paraguay, after analyzing the report sent by the Local Organizing Committee to the Medical Commission of the CONMEBOL.

The LIGA MX / ASCENSO MX announces its position regarding the informative notes about the regulations of the LIGA MX Women’s Tournament that starts on July 28, 2017.

In no article of the Bylaws of the Mexican Federation of Soccer Association, AC, or Regulation of Competition of the LIGA MX Femenil or of the other Professional Divisions, are there provisions that limit the right to be part of the competitions that this institution organizes by sexual preference, religion or other discriminatory circumstances.

Likewise, the Competition Regulation establishes the medical provisions that must be met for the registration of any player. It should be noted that at no point is pregnancy mentioned as a reason to disregard the responsibilities of a Club.

If any registered player (as it is with the men in the different competitions of the LIGA MX / ASCENSO MX) must have a medical expenses insurance, it will be provided by her club.

The emergence of the LIGA MX Femenil is due to the need to recognize the value of women in our society and their great contribution in sport, especially organized soccer. Mandy Islacker is returning to FC Bayern.  The top goalscorer of the previous two Bundesliga seasons signed a three-year contract at the Sabener Strae until 30 June 2020.  The striker for the German national team, who last played for 1. FFC Frankfurt, wore Bayern’s jersey from 2007 to 2010.

“We’re very happy that we could win Mandy back for Bayern Munich,” said manager Karin Danner.  “She is a goal-guarantee with a lot of quality and international experience.”  Danner also thanked the management of 1. FFC Frankfurt for “the collegial and professional progression of the transfer.”

In Frankfurt, Islacker developed into a top-striker the past three years.  In 2015, she scored the deciding goal for the Hessians in the Champions League final.  “I’m very thankful for the time at 1.
