James and his sibling were born to a mother that was much too young. The only thing she cared abut was her boyfriend of the week and where she would be getting her next hit from.

By the time James was four, him and his sibling were placed into foster care. While they were younger, the two of them were put into the same homes but one day when James was five, they were ushered into different cars. James' last glimpse of them was when the car he was in pulled away, never seeing them again.

At the age of five and a half, James was officially adopted and with that his family moved to Palmer by the time he was six years old.

The one thing that kept James sane during his childhood was music. He stared to collect old records and even took to playing the drums, which he was incredibly good at. Playing in the school jazz band all four years of high school.

There was no doubt that James wanted to make music his career and soon after high school, he was enrolled in college to study music composition and percussion. However, as he went into his second year, James began to doubt himself, and without telling anyone, he dropped out. Enlisting in the army instead.

James was great in the army and for the first time in a long time, he felt like he belonged somewhere. And he would go on to serve a total of eight years before deciding it was time to get out and see what else the world had to offer.

However, luck was no on his side, and just a few mere weeks before James was supposed to get out, his troop was ambushed on a mission. James had been too close to the explosion and was severely injured, for a brief stint of time, they weren't even for sure if he was going to make it or not.

He spent a month and a half in a hospital overseas, waiting until he was stable enough to be flown back to Palmer. And once he was, James spent over another month in the local hospital. Where he underwent several surgeries and got the diagnosis of a traumatic brain injury.

For the most part he was okay, however the TBI does affect his memory some as well as his balance. Causing him to forget things here and there- which always seems to a be a gamble of what he might remember one day to the next. There is also quite a bit of PTSD that has resulted from not only his accident but his time serving overall.

Now James is just trying to navigate this new life, figuring out what his new normal looks like. Though with his love of music, James has landed a job at the record store. Which has brought some much needed normalcy to his life.

Born to Linda and Kevin Bishop, both loving parents who did their best to give Silas everything. That all changed when he was ten years old, he lost both of his parents in tornado. His life had been great up until that point. His uncle and aunt ended up taking him in and raising him. Doing their best to teach him right from wrong and so forth.

But he still missed his parents and he started to looking into tornados more and more. Wanting to know what made them happen and how to stop them. Maybe he could stop a way from another family getting destroyed like his had. Even though he was only like thirteen at this time. His uncle ended up getting him into sports to keep his mind off tornados. He ended up being really good at football and basketball which was something he did love to do.

He slowly became Palmer's golden boy. Winning state championships whenever he played sports. He did well in school as well, getting the grades that he needed to stay in the sports he played and also pass. He only had one serious relationship in high school. But that ended when she decided to leave for college.

Tornados became a small obsession for him. Along with making his parents proud of course. Which was why after high school he went into the Air Forces. Becoming a pilot for them. He served a couple of tours, but when his plan got shot down everything changed. He got an honorable discard because he had gotten hurt and couldn't fly anymore.

When he got home, he thought that was it, but he trained harder to get back into the sky. Which is exactly what he did. He ended up becoming a pilot but also chases tornados whenever he can. Sometimes Silas uses his own personal plane to chase the tornados. Other times, he is flying for the local airline.

Caroline was born an only child in Kent, UK to two parents who loved her very much and always encouraged her passion for music. Especially since it was the only thing she seemed consistently passionate about. All her other interests came and went just as quickly. This all made sense when she was diagnosed with ADHD in her late teens.

She ended up going to university to study music, and opted to do a year abroad in New York, and even spent a summer taking a road trip through the country. She loved it so much, she decided to move back to the States after she finished her final year in England.

There, she settled upstate in New York and commuted to the city every day to work in the pit at several Broadway shows. She wasn’t a big fan of musicals beforehand, but her job gave her a newfound appreciation for them. She worked on Mean Girls, Wicked and Six.

Andrew grew up in Nashville, his mother was a music teacher while his father was a firefighter. Middle class was all that Andy had ever known and that was fine with him. A few years after he was born, his little sister was born. He quickly became the protective older brother. His father did play basketball, football and baseball with him.

During school, he did very well and also decided on football and baseball. Football in the fall and baseball in the spring. It helped him stay busy but also slated what friends he would have in both middle school and high school. Which was simple. The popular kids and the jocks. But Andy tried his best to be nice to everyone that he came in contact with.

It was high school that everything seemed to change, not only was he popular but he started to date Damaris Phillips, the two were pretty much inseparable. She ended up pregnant, and when he told his parents he was worried at first but they supported them. At the age of sixteen, Damaris gave birth to their first born, a daughter. At the age of eighteen they got married after they graduated.

Staying in Nashville for the next eleven years. But before they decided to move tragedy struck. Caleb, Andrew's father died in a house fire. He was rescuing a family from a burning building and Caleb didn't make it. Andrew felt crushed and he started to not only pull away from his family but his wife as well.

Coming from nothing was exactly where Joey came from, born on the wrong side of the tracks in Holland. Her father had ditched them when she was three years old, so her mother worked three jobs just to make sure that they had a roof over their heads. When she was seven years old, Josephine seen her mother shooting something into her arm, later she found out that it was cocaine. During her childhood, she was mainly left to fend for herself while her mother was working or coming down from her high. He older brother was already out of the house and on his own at this point but he still checked in whenever he could.

So Joey learned how to do things on her own, like wash her clothes, use the stove. She swore to herself whenever she was ten years old that she would never end up like her mother or father where ever he was. Doing her best that she could, child services found out about Joey’s mothers drug problem and thats when they took her away. She was in the system for about two weeks before her brother got her, but then her mother cleaned up her act and got her back two years later.

When she got back into her mothers care, she thought that things would change but they hadn’t. it had all been for show, but of course the drugs lessened and her mother got a boyfriend. But he wasn’t exactly a good guy, yes he had a job at the local gas station, while her mother was still a waitress, but he did import weed for some people. That was the first time at the age of fifteen that Josephine, ever got her hands on some drugs. She stole them from her mothers boyfriend, wanting to try out some weed herself. She smoked it and thats when she became a small addict to it. It was better than that stuff her mother still shot into her arm. Or at least she thought so.

Josephine did the best she could in school, pulling solid C’s and D’s and sometimes she pull off B’s. It just depended on if she studied or not. Her mothers boyfriend soon discovered that some of his weed had gone missing and of course he went after Joey’s mother for it. Beating the crap out of her, during the beating Josephine stood up to him, and told him it was her and then he went to hit her and thats when she punched him. In shock the man left and Josephine got her mother to the hospital who told them that she had fell. Of course in fear of being taken away again, Joey backed up her story.

Soon enough, she graduated even though she wasn’t at the top of her class, she still did well enough to graduate. Making a decision to travel, Josephine left one day without so much as a goodbye to her mother. While she was traveling, she made her way down south heading to Florida. It was there that she met a man by the name of Robert Jackson, he had money and a lot of it. She thought he was the one and he was going to take care of her.

But that came with a steep price. The two of them ended up arguing all the time and there were times that he would hit her, so she would hit him back. Of course he would always make it up to her, just like she would with him. This went on for five years.

Recently, it got bad really bad. Joey had found out she was pregnant and instead of aiming for her stomach like he usually would, he ended up just bruising up her face. So she cleaned herself up and the house after he was passed out. Took everything that she possible could besides the clothes on her back. Including over a thousand dollars from his wallet. She had been in contact with her brother, who lived in Palmer, turning up on his doorstep with a bruised face and pregnant. He helped her by offering his spare bedroom. She decided to go back to school and got a job at the local casino.

Being the oldest of two children that was born to Dilara and Mustafa, he was spoiled until his sister came along. The two ended up becoming close like siblings was especially since she was only a couple years younger. They moved to the United States when his father got a really good job offer by the US government since he was a cyber tech engineer.

They ended up moving to Palmer, Louisiana when Aydan was five years old. Throughout his life, Aydan always love building things, and always wanted to know what the bones of buildings looked like. So from that moment on he decided what he wanted to be. An architect. He decided to get good grades and wanted to make sure that would actually happen.

But his sister didn't make that easy for him. She never made things easy for him. He was always covering for her even when they were in high school. But he did his best to try and be there for her. It seemed like she had fallen in with the wrong crowd so to get her out of that crowd he did as well. His grades started slipping and then he started to try drugs. But he never went as far as her. He ended up getting them both help by telling their parents.

After a summer in rehab, Aydan felt like he was back to his old self. Even if his sister was pissed off at him. Somehow they both ended up passing senior year without incidents, his sister barely passing but Aydan passed with high grades. Making a decision to go to college to follow his dreams, his sister took off and did her own thing.

While he was in college, his sister got ahold of him after he started his own business. She had fallen off the wagon and her boyfriend at the time wasn't a good guy. Aydan paid the guy to go away and put his sister in rehab once again. He went back to school and got his degree while focusing on his career, he ended up turning his back on his sister. As much as it killed him to do so, he didn't want her dragging him down and plus he knew that she had to fall on her ass to make her realize that she had changed.

At the age of twenty seven, he got a surprise a baby at his door with papers and a note. The baby was his nephew, his sister left him and gave up custody to Aydan. Then five years later it happened again, when he was thirty two. This time though it was a baby girl, his niece. Deciding to keep them both, Aydan continued to provide a good life for them while focusing on his business as well. Design Odyssey becoming one of the main places to go for building designs.
