The Routine⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣. ⁣⁣⁣It is great to finally be fully immersed with the mantas down in the south of Fiji after analysing footage and data from the region for so long! . These two males are affectionately known as Doji and Kai. Doji is the black male who has been known to the project for 3 months now, and Kai the chevron male has been known to us for over a year. ⁣⁣⁣ . ⁣⁣⁣At the moment the manta action is off the charts! Boisterous feeding frenzies of over 35 individuals get chaotic, even bumping and slapping us as we try to gather data! Here I am using a 13mm focal length, basically meaning, they are touching my dome while doing some talent show manta feeding routine.
