As wedding season is slowing down and coming to a close — reflecting on all the weddings that didn’t happen, it is a bitter sweet feeling. Bitter in that I so wished for my couples to have been able to celebrate their love with friends and family... and bitter in that I miss my own friends and family having been quarantined as much as possible. But sweet because due to all the slowing down and rethinking we all had to do, there was time for me to focus on my health and grow my little family. Oh how I love that warm autumn light... can’t wait to see it dusted upon more of my couples next year! #teflections #itwasaquietyear #2020isnotcancelled #bittersweetmoment #lifehasafunnywayofworkingout #countingthelittlethings #lovealwayswins #autumnlight #sunsoaked #goldenhourlight #bayareaweddingphotographer #sonomaweddingphotographer #sonomaweddings #loveandlight #destinationweddingphotographer #beautifulbride #weddingseason2020 #covidwedding #pandemicwedding2020 (at Sonoma, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGiOeOuD5ie/?igshid=1716wvqcaf6bn

Some things to consider for guests if you’re going to have your wedding at this time: - Check with your venue to know what their current max capacity because different counties have different rules. Indoor & outdoor venues also can affect how many guests you can invite. - Make sure you count the number of vendors who will also be present. They will also count towards capacity. - Separate guests seating chart by household. Keep in mind some household counts can consist of 2 people. - Most guests should be prepared with masks when joining in on your day but I’d anything, have some masks and hand sanitizer available as a courtesy. All in all... have fun! Don’t stress! Everyone is thinking the same thing about theirs and your safety and well being. #planningthroughapandemic #weddingplanningtips #covidweddingplanning #covidwedding #microwedding #loweryourguestlistnotyourstandards #safetyfirst #wearamask #pandemicwedding2020 #pandemicweddingplanning #covidwedding2020 #pdxweddingphotographer #pnwweddings #portlandoregonphotographer #socialdistancing #sociallydistancedwedding #practicesocialdistancing #celebratelove #weddingseason2020 #gettingmarried2020 #smallweddingideas #intimatewedding Venue @leftbankannex Rentals @partyplacepdx Florals @blumpdx Menus @bluebonsaiprinting Catering @elephantsdeli (at Leftbank Annex) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEHWDQ4jUTD/?igshid=n0nfxfdn0d78

What exactly is a minimony? According to @theknot - It’s exactly that: a minimony is a mini ceremony held with your loved ones, or simply a moment of commitment shared between yourselves. Given the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic, couples have been opting to move forward with weddings or mini ceremonies on their “proposed wedding dates”, now defined as minimonies. A minimony is considered a commitment ceremony between you and your partner, and it can include up to 10 people—as long as you adhere to social distancing measures. The health of you and your loved ones should be priority throughout the planning and postponement process. Many couples who’ve had to postpone their nuptials (millions through summer 2020, in fact) are encouraged to consider a minimony to honor their original wedding date or to move forward with this option for legal purposes. So excited for our dear friends @oliviazamolo & @coronelpaolo today!! Can’t wait to follow along virtually as you celebrate today!
