hey kittens. been thinking about the bleach captains and lieutenants. what are they doing together on a beach day?

squad 1, yamamoto & sasakibe: sunglasses on, in a beach chair, taking a nap.

squad 2, soi-fon & yoruichi: catching fish with their bare hands.

squad 3, rose & kira: attempting to set up a speaker to play some music, but failing.

squad 4, unohana & isane: while unohana stands by the ocean with a parasol over her head, isane watches the ocean intently next to her.

squad 5, shinji & momo: they both make a plan to build the most beautiful and complex sandcastle ever.

squad 6, byakuya & renji, squad 10, toshiro & rangiku: these two squads are having a very intense beach volleyball tournament… squad 6 is losing, because renji is easily distracted.

squad 7, sajin & iba: they are under the umbrella, taking it easy. it’s too hot for sajin to stay out in the sun, given he is a giant dog…

squad 8, shunsui & nanao: while shunsui lays on a beach chair under the umbrella, he requests nanao bring him some water. she bitterly refuses, and continues to read, laying down on her beach towel.

squad 9, kensei & hisagi: as hisagi pours a second bottle of water over his head, kensei yells at him once more to get down and continue his workout routine. hisagi would much rather be playing volleyball with rangiku right now…

squad 11, kenpachi & yachi: carrying yachi on his back, kenpachi stands in the water as yachi looks out at the water. (i like to think of yachi as kenny’s little sister, something like that)

squad 12, mayuri & nemu: digging as far down as she can, nemu collects samples of the sand for mayuri, just as she was asked.

squad 13, ukitake & rukia: these two were asked by renji to referee squad 6 v squad 10’s volleyball tournament.

i am aware that soi-fon and yoruichi aren’t on the same squad at this time, but i think they’d still have fun at the beach together! i hope you enjoyed these ❤️
