I know the poll isn't over yet but I got excited

Meet Nebula and Fern, short king and tall queen parents of the five Brozone brothers. Nebula is 36 at the time of his death and Fern is 37. Nebula is a gruff outdoorsy man with a soft spot for kids. He loves camping, fishing, spending time with his kids, and his wife. He is the oldest of Rosiepuff's two sons and his fathers name is Saturn, hence the space themed names of Nebula and his brother Nova. John Dory was closest to his father and if Branch has ever met him, he would have been as well. Fern is a sweet and fiesty woman who's good at keeping kids busy. She carried all five eggs due to Nebula's "Limp Hair" genetic condition coming from Grandpa Saturns side of the family. She likes baking, art, and gardening. Bruce, Clay, and Floyd were all closer to their mother due to being "softer" and not as much of an outdoorsy person as their father and oldest brother. Just think Eldest Branch needs clothes for something decent and John just gave Branch hand-me-downs and didn't think much of it and he saw it was their Dad's stuff and John had a quick shutdown on how similar Branch and Nebula looked

I will cry. Branch really does look a lot like Nebula now that I think about it.

We are all normal about hidden family and family secrets (I would like to know Eldest Creek lore)

YOU WANT TO KNOW THE ELDEST CREEK LORE THANK YOU ANON I WAS WAITING FOR AN EXCUSE!!! So it all starts with Nova. At 14 he packs up and runs away from the tree. This is before the Bergen's had settled there. He went traveling around, getting to know the world and stuff and spent some time with a group of traveling Cloud Monks. Eventually the monks travel close to the tree again and he hears about the Bergen's having settled down several years ago and he leaves the monks to go back to the tree. He gets there and he sees Nebula and Fern and their little teal and green egg, being fawned over by Rosiepuff and Saturn. Which is great. They're all alive and Neb looks so happy, happier than Nova had ever seen his big brother. He cant interrupt that. And hell, he doesn't even know if they'd recognize him. It had been like 15 years... So he leaves. He drifts from branch to branch, just kinda being there. He wished he hadn't come back until... He met him. His name was River. The pair settled happily and lived together for 10 whole years until River confessed. Talk about beating around the bush, or maybe that was just Novas time with the monks that had him being shy and awkward. They married 4 years later and planned to have an egg, but then Nova heard about his brothers death. He fell into a depression for a good while but was pulled out of it by, you guessed it, the egg he and his partner so desperately wanted. Creek hatched when Branch was just a year old, before Brozones break up. Nova went to many of his nephews concerts, as a way to remember the brother he missed. And then the band broke up. And life went on. Creek was 4 when it happened, just two measly years before the great escape. Nova and River knew their pod was a target, so they hid their baby away and went out of the pod. And Creek was left behind.

(Part of me is cooking an au of EY where John finds out who Nova was sooner and ends up raising both Creek and Branch)

Does Clay suffer from the hair disease that Nova and Nebula have it looks like seeing how crazy/mangled his hair looks

!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't thought about it. I'd assume not the same one. The brothers all carry the gene but their moms genes cancel it out. Bruce has the version of it that's caused by strain but I imagine the putt putt trolls all have some form of hair disorder but not the same one.

Does Eldest Bruce remember his parents just as much as John I'm assuming Floyd is the only brother who has had barely many memories of them

Yeah Bruce and Clay both have some pretty good memories of them. Floyd also has memories of them but they're a lot fuzzier since hew as only 10 when they died. John is the only one that knew their grandpa and even then his memories of Saturn are really fuzzy.

Eldest Grandma Rosiepuff lore? She was emotionally abusive? Is that why with the grandchildren she was so caring?

OOp. This seems like a chance to dump some Eldest family tree lore. So Rosiepuff married her husband Saturn young. Their eldest son, Nebula, was born only a few months into their marriage. 2 years later, Nova was born. When Nebula was 5 and Nova 3, Saturn started going out camping more and more and since the boys were young, he never brought them. (this would later spur into Nebula always taking his boys along if they wanted to.) Saturn mostly used this time as a break from the kids, given he was only 24 at this time. It turned into a bad habit and became neglectful. Rosiepuff, being stuck at home with the boys alone and only being 23, got very easily frustrated. She turned to gambling and often would have her friends and others over to play cards and when the cards didn't go well or the kids got rowdy she'd yell at them. She never resorted to anything physical though. Between their mothers yelling, and their fathers frequent absences, the boys were a little messed up. When Nebula was 16 and Nova 14, Nova got into a yelling match with Rosiepuff over a game she played and she hit him for the first time. She was horrified at what she did and tried to apologize but Nova had already run to his room and shut the door. Nebula told her to give him some space and eventually he went to check on Nova but Nova was gone with only a letter addressed to Nebula. This caused Nebula a lot of grief, Rosiepuff to try and give up her gambling (she fell back into it after Saturn's death), and Saturn to stick around the pod more and also take Nebula out camping a lot leading to Nebula's own love of nature.

Will we ever hear anything about Eldest Parents outside of just them hiding Branch's egg and that Branch looks like Nebula or their uncle (I think you said they have one since you said he had a sibling)

OH YES. I have a post in here somewhere about what they looked like and I have a lot of plans about Nebula and Nova lore. Trust me thats coming up in the sequel. I'm very very very excited to delve into their backstory a little and have the brozone boys (mostly John) find out more about them. Can't wait to show you guys more about Nova >:3

If Branch resembles Nebula the most do all the brothers see it and does it hurt them? More like in the sense of it scares them seeing him or something

It definitely hurts JD. There was a chapter in EY where he was really sick and saw Branch as Nebula and that was painful for both of them. Not sure about how the others would react but it does probably shock them at first.

So who ate Nebula and Fern? Was it just a random Bergen or the Chef? (this also includes Saturn and Nova)

(Hi Hi health anon. I haven't eaten yet because I just woke up but I will soon!) Yeah it was just a random Bergen that ate them. They were selected for Trollstice so they were served to whoever.

The fact that Fern and Nebula have names based on Forest and Space makes me feel like they made a deal to continue the name pun trend that the boys will get forest names and the girls will get space names (They only got boys L)

That- thats genius. Thats actually genius. If they had a girl her name would have been Stella.

Does Nebula, Nova and Fern? (I think that's their mom's name) also exist in the Reaper and Bug AUs or they are just in Eldest universe

They do exist in Reaper Dory au, but not Bug Au. In the bug au their parents aren't around. Nebula is particularly important to Reaper Dory Lore :>

You guys remember Fern and Nebula. Brozone's wonderful parents. Well I talk about Nebula's younger brother quite a bit and I figured now is a good time to post him. :>

Meet Nova. Two years younger than Nebula and both have a condition called pili ineptitude, or weakness of the hair which is basically like a weak muscle disease but in the hair of a troll. The condition can be genetic, like it is in this case, or caused by injury or strain. Does Nova look familiar? Parentszone art by @aliennopossumm
