Taylor on Ellen, French references ... and my thoughts 💗🔵
TS mentions how songs in the background are clues. The song in the background of ME! is La Vie En Rose. The song's title can be translated as "Life in happy hues," "Life seen through happy lenses," "Life in rosy hues"; its literal meaning is "Life in Pink." Which TS has pink in her hair and the whole video is through difference lenses, kaleidoscopes.
The film La Vie en Rose begins in childhood. She goes to both NYC and California in the film (another indirect nod to her homes).
Another French reference was in her EW article in relation to Lana Del Rey.. she has French in the song Carmen. Is this a possible collaboration confirmation?
