speaking of back then, this theory might sound cliche and maybe a little out there but

considering the 1920s was and always has been considered the biggest party in history as it lasted for literally only a decade because we humans got our hands on this big ass lump sum of money and spent it all on the party

i feel that, that is the decade Partygoers came into existence.

the world was in a bit of a flare, a very bright one, and literally everyone found or came up with any excuse just to party, just to have fun. it was the aftermath of the first World War and understandably, people just wanted to be happy and not dragged down by what happened. partying for a good cause as it were...

however, i believe this became twisted into the exact opposite in the mirrored world we all know as the Backrooms

with everything being almost like in some sort of opposite sense, and how literally Level Fun is like a reverse birthday party where the cake eats the humans, no doubt that flare transformed into something sinister, thus creating the Partygoers

Partygoers often will force happiness, and in a lot of ways, we tried (and still kinda do) forcing happiness in order to move on from the tragic event, but for us, we, at least try to, do it in healing. While they do it to spread carnage in disguise obviously

but then this brings us to the 1930s (more specifically 1929)

the Great Depression

and yes, this is the decade Partypoopers appear

of course they did, because once we realized, oh shit where'd all the money go????? the market crash happened, everyone was in a panic, the media started becoming negative

then Depression

despite everyone's courage, and how hard they were working, it was not an era of smiles

meanwhile, the Partypoopers came to be via through a group of Partygoers that were in their own state of panic

sure, obviously they got bored of the party, and started getting tired and sick of the mindless killings

but they first panicked once they realized and recognized they were consuming something that was valuable, the same thing that was being affected by our own consumption; lives

human or not, a life can't be replaced by parties or money

even if they have the power to mutate a human into of them, that is still a life being taken away, as they completely loose everything of who they were before

this made them just as depressed, but also filled with some sort of courage to set things right, a redemption of sorts

though usually with their brilliant minds always processing tons of information via their computers, their logic and reasoning are their main weapons, however, just like us, they also invest in other jobs, weapons and defense (something i wish the mass majority of us humans would do TTuTT)

before the fun war, Rory was like the head of the military for PartyPoopers, Very strategic and coordinated, And always tried their best to help wanders, but after the fun war they became super paranoid about partygoers attacking them again, (even though their in the promised land) and always ascuses People of being partygoers in disguise, "I dunno Its like they've completely lost themselves.. =(" according to Koda

Koda is a very skittish Partypooper, and like alot of PartyPoopers after the war suffers with survivors guilt and Ptsd, They're good at heart and love comforting humans but the other PartyPoopers are kinda unintentionally making it worse, With Rory's constant Accusations and Finley's Rudeness, They're pretty depressed alot of the time

I Dont have a alot to say About Rowan, They're emo and like my chemical romance, that's it

Okay But Finley-

Before the fun war, Finley was relatively friendly and nice, Still prefering to be alone and the sarcastic logical one, but still kinda nice, They like a gunsmith or engineer for PartyPoopers, but after the war they became super cynical and crass and feels like he failed humanity and has extreme survivors guilt and depression, They really hate talking about it though and spend most of their time smoking Memory Juice in their room (Which extremely worries Rory, cuz they trained them and Rory was like their parent) They just wanna spend their time alone and not thinking about the bad stuff Which is why they have a crush on Funny cuz they make them forget all terrible things in Their life and replace them with 7 hour conversations about guns and tomatoes

not alot to say on Lennox, their pretty new, they were a silent warrior who cloaks themselves in liquad silence
