Artemy watching Brother Bear and absolutely loving it because Kenai is pretty much him on a screen, even though he's a bear for most of the movie. Like, when Kenai is told his totem is the bear of love and he rejects it at first... He'd get it. There was a time when he wasn't sure he could love others, either. Until he met Sticky and Murky, his Kodas.

Also, Sitka and Denahi would remind him so much of Ersher and Rubin respectively... the tears would be flowing when Sitka dies.

“Artemiy.”

“Got a family name to go with that, kid?”

He snorted, amused. “Okay, well Artemiy Familyless, I’ll be working in there for the next couple of weeks, so try not to launch any more projectiles my way.”

“Why? What’s your business with it?”

“Thought it was pretty obvious,” Dankovsky said. “I own it.”

Modern AU: Clare is a religious fanatic who is homeless on purpose out of devotion and is preaching in a parking lot.

OH WE ACTUALLY DEVELOPED SOME LORE FOR HER FOR THANATICA LABS AU RECENTLY

So here are some notes so far:

She wakes up in a morgue in Thanatica with no memory of who she was or where she came from

She claims to have died, seen heaven, and came back to life, and now she won't shut up about how she's been blessed

However, she's deeply haunted by the thought that something evil came back with her when she touched the other side.... Something that wears her face and wants control of her body....

Maybe it already has control of her and she doesn't even know it, and this greatly troubles her....

With nowhere else to go, she runs around Thanatica like a rat and treats it like her playground, exploring forgotten rooms and is extremely familiar with the lab's ventilation system

Sometimes she visits some of the more charitable employees of Thanatica like Eva, or the daughter of Thanatica's head autopsy technician, Grace

Clara listens for messages from angels on radio number stations in her spare time

Daniil wants to study the girl that came back to life but he's a scientist, not a rat catcher - She's MUCH faster and Daniil just happens to be in shin-kicking height

Artemy has met her before in some of Thanatica's abandoned rooms, but it's always at a distance - She passes on ominous messages about the strange happenings of the laboratory before running off and disappearing

Ultimately she's just a girl in need of some caring parental figures in her life
