Hey, hello fandom. I did a little analysis of the screenshot with Polyhedron from Pathologic3 steam page, overlaying it with a screenshot from a similar location angle in Pathologic2. And I have some conclusion.

These were my original pictures. And then I put them on top of each other. (We are not interested in the Cathedral part because it is a completely new model with a changed space position)

The interesting part is that the edge of the old Polyhedron body almost perfectly matches the edge of the beams surrounding the new Polyhedron. Examples of this (the red line is an old edge):

So well, okay, but what does it mean? This is NOT how Daniil sees the Polyhedron, this is what happened to the Polyhedron from old age or for some other reason. Its frame has sagged, the upper part has fallen off, and the stairs are collapsing. And I think this is due to those time travel mechanics promised to us. I find this is a very important detail because when I first saw the screenshot it confused me. We know that Utopians see salvation in the Polyhedron and extol it. And so, if they see the Polyhedron in some other way then another factions, then they definitely see it more beautiful than it really is.

(And also in the trailer in cinematic with the plaguefinder, you can see an absolutely whole old Polyhedron on the horizon. And in the gif on the publisher's page, you can see the sting of the old Polyhedron. (But this is not a full-fledged proof because these are rendered things and not the game itself.))

— Bom dia, César! — cumprimentou Ivete, com quem morava. Ela estava sentada na mesa, cabelos grisalhos presos no seu usual rabo de cavalo, começando a tomar seu café.

— Kaiser, — corrigiu, descendo as escadas. — Meu nome agora é Kaiser.

Ivete olhou-o, uma expressão confusa claramente estampada em sua face. — Quê? Caisser?

— Kaiser. Decidi mudar meu nome. Quero que vocês me chamem de Kaiser.

Pensou por alguns segundos. — Assim do nada?

— É.

Ela refletiu sobre a mudança por alguns momentos, murmurando o nome enquanto colocava mais açúcar em seu café. — E pra quê mudar de nome, guri? — inquiriu. — César é um nome bom.

Kaiser pareceu inquieto, sem jeito ao ouvir a pergunta. Após alguns segundos gaguejando, decidiu assumir um falso bravado ao falar, — Por que sim! Eu não preciso de motivo.

— ...Tá bom então, ué. 'Cê é grandinho, pode tomar suas próprias decisões já. — Deu de ombros e seguiu comendo seu pão de queijo.

Vendo que era o fim da conversa, Kaiser decidiu sentar-se oposto de Ivete para tomar seu café. Começou a cortar um pãozinho, quando foi interrompido:

— 'Cês da Ordem tudo têm problema, né?

O menino era grato por não estar tomando café; com o susto que tomara, teria cuspido tudo na mesa. — ... É, temos, — respondeu cuidadosamente. — Por que?

— Às vezes eu vejo fotos antigas do Arthur. Ele estava tão diferente, mais feliz. Eu chego a me perguntar se as coisas não seriam mais fáceis se a Ordem não existisse, ou se nunca tivesse entrado em nossas vidas.

O olhar de Ivete era melancólico, como se não estivesse mais na mesa tomando café da manhã, mas sim presa no passado, feliz e distante.

— Mas eu entendo também que se a Ordem não existisse nossas vidas estariam piores, especialmente a gente que é de Carpazinha, sabe? Se vocês não tivessem vindo e metido fogo naquele Santo Berço eles teriam continuado a desaparecer com todo mundo que a gente amava.

Kaiser piscou. Eram 7 horas da manhã e o fato que ele não havia dormido ainda estava começando a se fazer óbvio. Ainda assim, Ivete continuou.

— Você é a mesma coisa. Eu sei que eu não te conheço há muito tempo, mas a pessoa que você era antes de seu pai morrer e quem você é hoje são totalmente diferentes. 'Cê lembra de como você ficava jogando copo no povo enquanto seus amigo tudo lutando com faca e arma? — ela deu uma risada nostálgica, Kaiser a acompanhando com um sorriso. — 'Cê era muito pequeno. Digo, pequeno comparado ao homem que tu é hoje. Né verdade?

— É... — Disse quando percebeu que Ivete esperava uma resposta.

— Tu quer se separar da pessoa que era antes, né? — lhe disse em surdina. — Te tráz memórias ruins. Por isso que tu 'tá aí mudando de nome.

Ela lhe fixou um longo olhar, o analisando, lendo. Por fim decidiu dar voz a o que pensava:

Kaiser não respondeu, apenas lhe deu um olhar, confiando que Ivete entenderia.

— Bom dia mãe, bom dia César. — disse Arthur entre bocejos. — Pera, César? — piscou os olhos, fixados em Kaiser. — Nossa, que surpresa. Nunca te vejo de manhã.

Ela sorriu e voltou a tomar seu café, agora frio. Kaiser voltou a cortar seu pão. Ouviram passos descendo a escada.

— É Kaiser. — Ivete o informou. — Ele quer ser chamado de Kaiser agora.

Arthur se espreguiçou. — Hã? Tá bom então. Tem pão de queijo?

— Não. Eu comi o último.

— Mãe! — choramingou, — Eu falei pra senhora deixar pra mim!

A manhã era fria, o ambiente era aconchegante e Kaiser havia acabado de perceber que era a primeira vez que se sentia tão amado e aceito desde a morte de Christopher. Apenas engoliu suas lágrimas e colocou mortadela em seu pão.
