§ 3.105. Luz de domingo (José Luis Garci, 2007)

Una de las últimas del Maestro, después de Tiovivo, que a él le gusta mucho. Ruralidad, tradición, y la historia de amor de (casi) siempre, que va subiendo de tono hasta convertirse prácticamente en un Western de violencia y venganza.

A la 'troupe' habitual del director se le une la dupla Paula Echevarría y Álex González, con resultados algo dispares. me parece que desentonan, no enganchan en la historia y se nota bastante su bisoñez y su falta de tablas. No son buenos actores. Él siempre envarado, ella, sinceramente, no creo que vuelva a la gran pantalla muchas más veces más. Actriz de televisión, más que de cine, pero con muchas clacas. Al lado de Landa, Larrañaga, o Mánver parecen escolares. Inclusos sus voces no están bien trabajadas, no son empacosas, no transmiten, no proyectan. Son vulgares, sin vocalizaciones ciertas y correctas. Voz de chicle, que sirve para cualquier emoción, para cualquier situación y para cualquier película. La misma sonrisa, la misma energía, ningún matiz, ninguna preparación. Allí se ponen y hacen igual un drama que una comedia. Supongo que les elegiría porque estaban de moda, o porque daban bien en pantalla, pero vista quince años después parece claro que es el punto más frágil de la cinta.

El guión es bueno, y la narración es correcta, pero el resultado no es el esperado. Al menos el esperado por mi, que tengo en grandísima estima a Garci.

No es que me haya parecido mala, pero no es de las mejores del director.
