another set of ttte oc humanisations- the north york moors railway dudes now!! as per usual i will stick a couple design notes under the cut for anyone who is interested heheh!

nine (BR 9F 92134):

they're so tired all the time and have resting exhausted, done with everyones nonsense face.

as i have a lot of ocs with br black liverys, i wanted to have variation in their designs still, so their outfit is all purpley red style blacks.

their floppy hair is representative of their smoke deflectors <3

lucie (Cockerill No. 8 Lucie):

she has the most organised and colour coordinated outfit of the set- she knows she looks fabulous and rocks it.

the writing on her cane is the writing that is on the side of the engine, and she is also one of the only ones who incorporates engine number as part of her design (on her hat!)

her long flared coat is entirely for the drama. makes her movenments feel swishier.

peggy (Lambton Colliery No. 29):

literally the nicest and kindest old woman you could possibly meet, so i wanted her outfit to look friendly!

even though her engine is a sort of teal green, the more yellowy green felt more inviting, so that is what she has!

the little flower pin on her hat is in the colours of the lesbian flag- her and sybilla are married <3

sybilla (BR Class 25 No. D7628):

the patches on her jacket are taken from little symbols on the front of her engine- the colours are the same as their earrings, also.

physically very strong (tractive effort of 39,000!) and also quite tall. her outfit is practical (mostly!) and the two tone green on the jacket and bright yellow top reflects their engines livery.

the red-orange stripes on her trousers reflect the lining around her engines roof, and the belt buckle is representative of her bufferbeam!

jaybird (BR Standard 4 Tank 80136):

yes, he works dressed like that. yes, it is not appropriate clothing for driving an engine (where are your sleeves buddy!!) but he doesn't care because he likes it <3

the shoe and necklace colours are based on his lining, and the ear piercing he copied from sybilla because he thinks she's super cool.

he is slightly shorter than his sister (tilly) mostly to represent that he is younger and slightly more chaotic.

tilly (BR Standard 4 Tank 80135):

a calm and collected sort, her outfit is quite basic, practical and well put together.

her engine has a br green livery in preservation despite never wearing it in initial service- so the dress is reflective of that livery.

her hairclip is the same red as jaybirds necklace. coincidence? never.

repton (SR Schools 926):

the only one wearing a fully appropriate driver work uniform. he is dressed as a southern railway driver should and is very aggravated at the others wearing silly clothing.

the overalls are lined the same way his engine is, with the double white lines. the jacket and hat use the nameplate and southern railway writing colours of red and gold instead.

the two strands of hair Not in the ponytail are representations of his engines smoke deflectors.

Got something a liittle bit different for you guys!!! A little fanfiction of my OCs (The north york moors engines specifically!) told through texts between them. I hope you guys like this- it was really fun to do! I'll keep most of the images under the cut- some of the images are quite long!
