Why are people so confused over the idea that you can dislike a team while still being friends with fans of the team?? It’s not that hard.

jsdhjhsj i agree 10/10 it’s just that bruins fans and leafs fan absolutely attach each other every chance we get. like our specific rivalry makes it hard lol. i don’t think there’s a single other team on hockey tumblr that shits on the leafs as hard as the bruins fans do. and if you have a sense of humour, it’s hilarious. like yes hello the leafs suck sometimes so the memes are funny but not everyone can laugh lol. 

like yeah there’s all of hockey tumblr vs the pens but bruins fans specifically meme the shit out of leafs fans - always directed at the soft, weak spot 2013 playoffs fuck off and not everyone takes it v well. like even i really can’t stand a few asshole bruins fans on here bc of the way they treat leafs fans and i will admit i preemptively block some bruins blogs whose posts seem to go a little far but hey what can you do. just move on u know. if people don’t realize that this is all just a fucking sport and that kindness should take precedent then i don’t know what to tell them

I'll give you one reason why we should throw in the towel on the Pens: NYR has beaten us 3-1 in the reg season, but 2 of those wins came from beating us without Sid, Geno or several regulars. 10 games left to recuperate from our slump. There's a reason why regular season vs playoff results are vastly different. A playoff series win is far more satisfying and people will keep on talking about that than what happened in the regular season. I will say it another time: we will be fine.

Oh no by far the worst part about losing to the Rags right now is the panicking fans and the insufferable rags fans trying to throw this in our face.

We beat the Isles 6-2-0 in the 2021 season before getting our shit kicked in for the playoffs. We swept the regular season series against the Bruins in 2013, then were promptly swept in the ECF by the Bruins.

Any hockey team can win any game on any given night. We have time and this means nothing come playoff time
