he knows that. realistically he does. he can see it in her eyes. the brief flashes in her eyes of ideas. even then, lips part in an obvious 'oh' as if it's just coming together for him. as if he's just now realizing it - and maybe there's still a part of him that is. "i've never asked that of you." maybe if he tries pushing her away she wouldn't feel like she had to do things for him. but she never said that she felt like she had to. just that she did.

▌♔ ▌THE SERPENT PRINCE SMIRKS AT HER COMPLIMENT and INSULT. She's not wrong though....after all, being in a gang isn't looked at as being a good deed in this town. You are trouble, and you are known to be dangerous. LEATHER JACKETS with emerald snacks embedded on their back, with eyes the color of your blood.

They aren't heroes with capes, and they surely aren't here for the good of GOD. He's here to SPREAD the serpents like parasites, like an unwanted DISEASE among humanity. Northside in their grasp, letting hell escape the cracks of the Southside and taint everything in it's way. He's past also shows just how fucked up he is in the head, yet.. Betty Cooper is a sight for sore eyes, and seems like to be the only thing Jughead wishes not to taint. Beauty and grace... but much more than just a face. She's warm, she has a heart of GOLD and has a bounce to her walk. A sunny day to his gloom and doom forever nightmare. He's a screw up since the day he was born, but the girl next door didn't make him feel that way, in fact, it might be the first time Jughead has ever felt.... whole.

Funny, he is a screw up...... you want something so bad, and yet..... someone like Betty Cooper is TWISTING his mind on his ideas for the Northside. She lives here after all.... where would that lead them? Jughead chuckles, shoulders lift gently and drop as he guides himself over to Betty to close the distance between the two of them.
