I am very pleased with Barry M Molten Metal in 'Copper Mine' that @barrymcosmetics_australia kindly sent to me weeks ago. The first time I opened my box, #CopperMine stands out because I have nothing like this shade in my plethora of nail polishes collection, a rusty copper with terracotta undertone. Formula is a bit thin so I did three thin coats however it dried fast and the application was a breeze; it applied evenly without top coat. I also tried making DIY nail wrap (dried nail polish) just to test how pliable it is and how would it apply when cut thinly. It did not disappoint, I can use this as alternative to striping tape. This beautiful soft pale blush pink is from the NEW @SallyHansenAU #CompleteSalonManicure Spring Collection and it’s called ‘Marrakeshed From A Rose’ ... two coats with top coat. I find it a bit thick to apply but self-levelled evenly at second coat. I suggest to put few drops of lacquer thinner if you have any so application will be smooth and easy. I stamped with @powderperfect rose design from Floral 1 plate. I have been loving @opiaustralia 'Check Out The Old Geysirs' that I wore this for two consecutive weeks and decided to wear it on it's third week with tribal art (I apologize it's not Nordic art, I did not realize until I wrote this text). Why I love this so much? Well, aside that it is  blue, it's quite unique because of dusty iridescent shimmer blue. Formula was a bit thick and patchy to apply at first coat but build up nicely and evenly in second coat. I suggest to put a few drops of nail lacquer thinner to thin the formula for a butter smooth application. I saw an ethereal lady last weekend. If I'm not mistaken, she is in her early 60s but she is still elegant and graceful in her teal summer dress win pink lilies all over it.  Then suddenly, it struck me, I shall create a nail art with that dress! I hurried home and sat on my table and dig on my nail stamping plates, polishes and nail art brushes. I did reverse stamping for the lily flowers and fill it in with white and pink to create the illusion of one stroke (I did a bad job coz I’m out of practice 😬) and a mint green polish for the lily buds. I love how it turned out, I may not have the summer dress of the woman but I am wearing her dress in my nails 😝. Both shades are opaque in two thin coats. No issues in formula. It’s finally Christmas Eve!!! Merry Christmas to all of you. May you are enjoying your celebration 🎉🎄🍾 I am wearing @OPIAustralia ‘Snow Glad I Met You’ , I didn’t gotten the chance to do nail art because I have been cooking and baking. I am wearing #SnowGladIMetYou because I like the name (I’m so glad I met you, all!) inasmuch I like the shade. I swatch this in two coats over one coat of #OPI #SnowWhite (I got the trick from @angelkiss.naildesigns, thank you for sharing). Why over white? The formula for me is quite sheer and the brush strokes are visible which is common for most frost finish. Visible brush stroke is one of my long list of pet peeves that I become agitated if I cannot make it smooth (yep, I’m that demented). White polish underneath makes application smooth and obviously opaque. So there you go, if brush strokes does not trouble you, get yourself a bottle. It can be worn with silver glitter top coat and it would look like snowing 🌨 in your fingers 💅. Available @myer and @davidjonesstore. The countdown to Christmas is on! It's just 12 days away. Have you done your Christmas shopping yet? All I want for Christmas are more beauty products and nail polishes are of course is on top of my list. Speaking of nail polishes, here is @OPIAustralia 'Top the Package with a Beau' from #LoveOPI XOXO collection. #TopThePackageWithABeau is a black polish with gold flakes that is opaque in two coats. My photo does not do justice of how beautiful this polish is. The gold flakes are simply beautiful peeking through the black. I experience a shrinkage though. My bad because I did not cap the free edges of my nails. Swipe to the next photo to see the shrinkage. I did recycle this mani and wore it for a week with #Christmas nail stamping design with matte top coat. As you can see it also shrink at the cuticle area. So be generous of the top coat and don't forget to cap the free edges. I love OPI #InfiniteShine because they really last long without chipping and damaging my nails. The top coat is really amazing, make your nails look so shinny. It's very pretty, I promise your nails will look like they were done with gel. You can apply one coat and it's orange opaque. Apply two coats to get more red, I did two coats. So you get two polish shade in one bottle, how cool is that! By the way, this red does not stain your cuticles when you make a mistake, it is easy clean up in cuticle edges. I cannot fault this polish because it's not only long lasting but the Argan oil actually penetrates your nails and conditions them. This leaves your nails better than before wearing it. @RevitanailAUS Sensitive nail strengthener pink contains the goodness of Pearl and Diamond Powders to condition and toughen the nail. It is free from harsh compounds such as Formaldehyde, Toluene and Dibutyl Phthalate. I received this a month or so ago. I used this when I was traveling last month. It grew my nails like crazy and and was strong. The direction in the box is to apply in one thin coat daily for 4 days. Remove and repeat treatment 3 times. Allow nails to rest for 1-2 weeks in between treatments. I used this as base coat or on just on it’s own and I only use once a week because I have super strong nails already. My tip for using any treatments is to complement it with any nail oils (or coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil) or cuticle balms to moisturize. This will make your nails strong but flexible hence preventing breakage. I always hear people say they got very strong nails but it breaks so they never again used nail treatments. The reality is we all wash our hands, and water dries our skin meaning it dries the cuticles and beneath it too. Applying hand cream or hand lotion may not enough especially if you’re extra dry. A little oil to your cuticles keeps your nails healthy.
