A Reminder
Living in a neighborhood
groomed to the least blade of grass,
you forget about the brazen real world
—till a deer, big-boned and confused,
clip-clops through your hushed street,
searching for the tangle of the woods.

Working in the photography lab is so fun when you're careless. Professor's like "always do a test strip to know how many seconds to expose the paper" Just do however many seconds are in your heart babes

"Uluru Monadic" is the first piece in Imana Studio's Faces of Nature Collection. This piece was taken on my camper van tour of Australia when we arrived at Kata Tjuta National Park in Northern Territory. The first place we visited was Uluru, it is a very powerful spiritual place, a sacred place to the indigenous peoples of Australia but also a very sacred place for the planet entire planet. It is also known as the solar plexus chakra of the planet. This is a true power centre.
This image was taken a few km's out from the base of Uluru where we could sit naked in the desert sand, a very powerful grounding practice I would recommend you try. From this location I noticed something peculiar about Uluru, I could see what looks like a giant face of an Indigenous man imprinted on the structure, look closely. So I created this piece simply by amplifying what I saw, I think the result is amazing dont you?
The image features Max Imana, Uluru in the back and the desert of Kata Tjuta National park. As must see for all the explorers out there. Wrapped around the sturdy New Zealand Pinewood frame, this canvas is made from a high-quality Polycotton material.
