Motorbike Tool Pouch
Hi Guys, this new project is a small one, easily achievable for new comers wanting a first project. My friend bought a tool pouch for her new motorbike, I wasn’t impressed by the terrible quality of it so I took it and stripped it into it’s parts then used them as a pattern to make her a better one and one for myself, using 100% Veg tan leather. Here’s some photo’s of how it went. These pics are a mixture of the two as I didn’t take many of the first pouch...mainly because this is the first project since my Mum passed and I wasn’t really in the head space when I began, but, the process on both is exactly the same so you will be able to see the process well enough. I have shown many times on other projects how I transfer the patterns to the leather so if you want to know about that particular point feel free to look in the archive of my blog ‘A Journey into Leathercraft’.
Tumblr media
Pic 1a : After transferring the patterns from the Cr***y pouch to the Veg tan leather My friend chose a Rose to go on the front of hers and a couple of initial stamps so I traced, carved and tooled it for her and added the initials as shown, I chose Oak leaves and Acorns as you will see later.
Tumblr media
Pic1b Shows up more with the different shadowing.
Tumblr media
Pic 1c : here you can see that around the edges I have also transfered the stitch hole marks ready for punching and a few of the strap rivit holes.
Tumblr media
Pic 2 : After all the tooling was done I dyed all the sections black using fiebings Pro dye, I personally like the extra oilyness of it and ..just my opinion but I feel it looks a little better. Here I am also using my awl to widen the stitch holes slightly because my 1.5 mm punch is temporarily misplaced so I used a smaller one and widened them this way....never letting a small issue like that stop the process lol.
Tumblr media
Pic 3 :  I cut, punched, dyed and burnished the edges on all the straps, then I attached the buckles that were on the original..’Cr***y’ pouch.
Tumblr media
Pic 4 : Before you start your hole punching, mark them and double check you have the correct amount of holes to meet up on the other side as you stitch it around, this is an easy one as the holes carry on all around ..for stitching purposes so once the side piece ..shown here.. is stitched as high as you need to, you just carry the stitch around for ‘looks’ as you will see, then you can...if you want to..carry the stitch around the edges of the flap..for the same reason.
Tumblr media
Pic 5 : Both end sections are now stitched in place, using the old faithful ‘Saddle Stitch’ Here you can also see the punched holes where the new straps will go.
Tumblr media
Pic 6 : This shows the design I chose for mine.
Tumblr media
Pic 6a : Straps going on.
Tumblr media
Pic 7 : Next I added the straps which really is a simple thing, nothing major. I used those plastic clips for closures as I think they just look the part on this particular project.
Tumblr media
Pic 8 : Here you can see the straps threaded through from the inside.
Tumblr media
Pic 9 : I had a couple of brass plated buckles so I used those on the straps for connecting to the bike.
Tumblr media
Pic 10 : other view.
Tumblr media
Pic 11 : All done, both pouches finished.
Tumblr media
Pic12 : My friends new pouch, she’s happy with the better quality and loves the design.
Tumblr media
Pic13 : And this is ‘my’ new tool pouch.  As I said it was an easy build this time, it was a nice project to get me back into the workshop and I had fun making them, they have been heavily waxed but there is a small dry bag inside because these are leather and are water resistant not waterproof. If they get a good soaking we just empty them, sit in a warm room to dry naturally and re apply more wax..and we are back in action. I hope you might give it a go yourself, you don’t really need a pattern to make these I just had it so I used it. More coming soon. For anyone who isn’t aware yet, I have a blog called ‘A Journey into Leathercraft’ there are many builds in the archive dating back to 2015 and my first ever project through to present day. I also have a little Youtube channel with a few clips and a few build alongs..it’s all new to me but I think they are interesting if you are just starting out..just google ‘Youtube ‘shamancraftprojects’ ( yes..no spaces.) Thanks to all those of you who have been following my projects for years and welcome and thanks to all the new ones. back soon, be safe, but most of all ..to all those makers..Stay Crafty.

Proteus 8.9 SP2 Full Download Crack is a set of tools mainly used for automation of electronics design, it is the most user-friendly software suitable for the job. In the general market, electronic software engineers and technicians mainly use this software to create electronic schematics or prints to also make printed circuit boards called PCBs.
The development of this software was carried out in Yorkshire, England by Labcenter Electronics Ltd and has been available in a variety of languages including English, Spanish, French and Chinese.
Product modulesProteus 8.9 Cracked is an application for Windows, where it is used for various electronically related purposes, such as schematic capture, simulation and PCB layout design. You can support this useful software by purchasing it in many configurations, the size depends on the size of the designs you want to produce and is therefore directly related to the quality of the product you want to use and also if you want to make more. features such as the use of a microcontroller simulation. All PCB design products include an automatic router as well as SPICE mixed mode simulation capabilities that are also provided.
Arrest of the regimeThe schematic capture function that we do with the help of Proteus Design Suite is used in design simulation and also as a design project for the PCB design phase. This use makes it an essential component and is essential for the included product configurations.
PCB layoutThe schematic capture module automatically sends the connectivity information to the PCB layout module as a network list. This information is then applied, along with user-specified design rules and various design automation tools, to archive the map design without errors. PCB layout size limit can be up to 16 layers of copper and still produce this useful software.

Devil's Tongue
September 9-11, 2011
Devil's Tongue (8048')
I look forward to hooking up with Mike T and Fay at least once every summer to do a climb, but it has become increasingly difficult to find a peak that neither of them has already done. This year, I hit the jackpot by suggesting Devil's Tongue, a relatively obscure peak in the northeastern Chilliwack Mtns. My interest in Devils Tongue began a few years ago, when I first saw the new North Cascades National Park commemorative license plates; the "Tongue" stands out like a stone beacon in Lee Mann's remarkable long-distance photograph (although it took me some head-scratching to identify it). Mike and Fay had their own reasons for wanting this peak. Ultimately, it proved to be a worthy summit in an incredibly scenic part of the Cascades, but the Devil managed to get plenty of licks in.
Day 1: We drove to Hope, B.C., and followed the loooong Silver-Skagit Road to Chittendon Trailhead. Our hike began by crossing the Skagit River on an interesting suspension bridge, then working upstream about 3 miles on a crude shoreline trail, then hiking up to Galene Lakes on a well-defined miner's trail. Early in our hike, it became painfully obvious that getting to the Devil's Tongue would involve passing through the Devil's Petri Dish: we were hounded and attacked by hordes of voracious mosquitoes for mile after mile. Even though we hiked with headnets on, the buzzing squadrons made it nearly impossible to stop for any reason, except in some areas of very dense forest partway up the trail. At one point near Mile 7, I stopped to rest in a swarm of biting blackflies and actually found that they offered a nice reprieve from the mosquitoes...but only for about 10 minutes. I pushed on up the trail at frantic pace, trying to outrun the insect pack. Only by jumping into Middle Galene Lake, farther up the trail, was I able to escape satan's little minions. Around 5:30pm, Mike and Fay arrived at the lake, which had some agreeable campsites, but we decided to ascend another 500 feet to Upper Galene Lake in hopes of getting above the bugs. This strategy did not pan out at all, because the mosquitoes were every bit a prevalent when we arrived at 7:00pm (7.4 hours from car). On the positive side, we had better views and were closer to our objective peak.
Day 2: We awoke about a half hour after the mosquitoes began their morning onslaught. After a non-relaxing breakfast, we headed up grassy slopes to the ridge crest above camp. The bugs were still plenty bad on the crest, but the wildflowers and mountain views were wonderful. We headed southwestward to Monument 70 on the international border swath, then turned westward and followed "Silver Ridge" for about 3 miles over several wide-open knolls. Terrain on the gently rounded crest alternates between big patches of green heather and bleached-white rhyolite fragments. Hozomeen Mtn, Jack Mtn, Mt. Prophet, and the Chilliwack Mtns all stand out strikingly on the horizon. Undoubtedly, this must be some of the finest ridgetop strolling in Washington.
The only obstacle along the ridge was Point 7103, which we surmounted on the left side via a steep, loose, rock face. After more easy wandering, we finally reached the base of Devils Tongue. The tall, triangular east face looks quite intimidating, with its steep rock bands separated by four distinctive horizontal snowfields.. However, we easily traversed across to the southeast ridge and found fun Class 2 - 3.5 scrambling over a series of ledges, ramps, and faces. We reached the seldom-visited summit at 2:30pm (6.8 hours from camp). Mt. Spickard and Custer Ridge rise above the summit and form a ring around the unearthly blue water of Silver Lake. Perhaps more than any other summit scene that I can recall, this one seems like a painting. The total absence of mosquitoes here made for a truly enjoyable visit.
After an hour on top, we carefully down-climbed our route and then began a long traverse back to camp. But not directly back to camp, mind you, because MIke insisted on tucking in a bonus summit. So, in the waning dusk, we marched up "Silver Ridge Peak" to plant a register. Getting off the summit and back to Monument 70 in the dark was made somewhat more interesting by the fact that both Fay's and Mike's GPS units suffered power failures. No matter; our IFR navigation quickly turned to nighttime VFR, and with the help of my trusty analog compass, we soon located the monument. From there, we were able to take advantage of a full moon illuminating the wide-open wildflower meadows. If not for the return of mosquito swarms, this would have been pure delight. We stumbled into camp at 9:30pm (6.0 hours from summit).
Day 3: This day was a blur of mosquitoes and downhill trail as viewed through a headnet. Upon reaching the Skagit River, we elected to make a quick ford through the hip-deep water rather than follow the 3-mile shoreline trail. If we thought this place seemed like an insect hell, it was confirmed by a nearby angler who told us that this is the worst mosquito season he's encountered in 20 years of fishing the Skagit. I should hope so! Once across the river, we hurried along a wide trail to the Nepopekum parking lot. I dumped my pack and set off 3.5 miles down the road to fetch our car. Even on this dry, dusty road, the mosquitoes tormented me and demanded a brisk pace. I also discovered that no driver will pick up a hitchhiker wearing a headnet. Who knew!
Approximate Stats: 25 miles, 10,700 feet gained & lost, 1000 mosquitoes killed (mostly by Mike), 3 pints of blood lost.

Chinese official cheating with a famous Camgirl. His wife has said there is no Freedom of Speech in China.
Feng Timo (real name: Feng Yanan) is a famous Camgirl in China. Someone recently wrote a post in Zhihu (Chinese Quora) that she was cheating with a Chinese official named Dai Bing and showed a pic of them in bed. This official is the secretary-general of the Shanghai Youth Entrepreneurship Association (belong to the Communist Youth League, CCP’s youth group). In pic 8,9 and 10, the man with Feng in bed was found named Dai Bing, working for The Communist Youth League of China. In pic 11, this official’s wife said there is no Freedom of Speech in China.

Mount Prophet
July 16-17, 2011
Mount Prophet (7640')
Mt. Prophet is the highest peak of a small subrange enclosed by Big Beaver Creek, Little Beaver Creek, and Ross Lake within the central-northern Cascades. It appears as a cluster of high, attractive peaks and scalloped ridges when viewed from one of the scenic pullouts on Highway 20. Kevin K and I decided to gamble on a deteriorating weather forecast last weekend and make a summit attempt. The weathermen were unanimously predicting doom and gloom for us, but I was secretly counting on riding the wake of Kevin's enormous karma bank.
We rode the water taxi to Big Beaver Landing on Saturday morning and hiked 5 miles up Big Beaver Trail. Just past Thirtyninemile Creek, we plunged into the forest and headed northerly alongside the creek. After a few hundred yards of typical valley-bottom brush, we worked our way onto a relatively brush-free rib located closely right (east) of a minor gully. This rib became more distinct and more open with elevation. We saw traces of old boot tread along the way, but the route-finding was always fairly easy. In contrast to the horrible bushwhack I had been expecting, this cross-country route was---dare I say---almost pleasant by Cascade standards. Even the cool, overcast weather was greatly appreciated on this south-facing slope, but the hungry mosquitoes kept things from getting truly pleasant.
By the time we reached snowline at 5000 feet, heavy gray clouds were starting to descend on the mountain, and rain showers intermittently passed through. We got a short view of the upper ridges and rocky points above Thirtyninemile ("Firn") Lake just before they were swallowed by fog; after that, visibility was down to 50 yards or so for the next several hours. We gained a 6600-foot saddle on the high ridge, then generally followed the crest up and over Points 7361 and 7567. The crestlines offered straightforward Class 1-2 travel, which was quite enjoyable under the circumstances. The false summit and true summit had some steeper Class 3 rock, but the exposure was never bad. We topped out in the late afternoon (8.8 hours and 6500 feet from Big Beaver Landing).
There was a summit cairn but no register, so I left a makeshift register consisting of a Nuun bottle (we thought this appropriate for Mt. Prophet). The weather was cold and windy, with rain sprinkles, and the views were non-existent. This was especially disappointing because we'd hauled our full backpacks all the way in hopes of doing a summit bivouac. Given the horrible weather and the lack of any decent bivouac sites, however, we re-shouldered packs at 6:00pm and started retracing our up-route back along the ridge crest.
About an hour after leaving the summit, we stopped for a rest on a rocky knob at 6700 feet, and this is where Kevin's good karma finally kicked in. The clouds and fog miraculously began to dissipate! We scouted around the vicinity and found a splendid bivouac site on small patch of ridge-crest greenery. Dinner and ever-improving views were enjoyed from our bivy sacks until nightfall, which was followed by a near-full moonrise. In the morning, we awoke to a sky of blue above and a sea of clouds below. The rising sun splashed across the cloudscape and protruding mountains as we ate breakfast. Kevin must have cashed in a ton of karma in exchange for this incredible visual presentation!
We reluctantly packed up and headed down at 7:30am. Our descent was reasonably quick and uneventful, and the afternoon rain showers held off until we reached the trail. Two hours later, we found ourselves sprawled across the dock at Big Beaver Landing (5.9 hours from camp) awaiting the water taxi---and the next rainstorm. Our good-weather window had been brief but spectacular.
Stats: 18 miles; 7200 feet gained and lost.
