welcome to my blog, it is terrible! this is a very detailed about me which is too long to pin because i talk too much x
Tumblr media Tumblr media
general
i'm a minor so don't be weird. i use he/they/she pronouns. my gender can be likened to the properties of gallium. don't ask because i'm not sure either. also bisexual as fuck! born and raised welsh raaahhh but my parents are bangladeshi so i have that going for me!
Tumblr media
motorsports
formula one
just to preface, i don't currently hate any driver on the grid right now but not the biggest fan of pierre gasly and nico hulkenberg and on the fence about charles leclerc (you won't see hate though, don't worry). my current drivers are: max verstappen, lewis hamilton, daniel ricciardo, oscar piastri, fernando alonso, valtteri bottas and kevin magnussen. teams are a little more complicated but i basically root for alphatauri, alfa romeo and red bull racing. in terms of ex-f1 drivers/retirees i love jenson button, sebastian vettel, antonio giovinazzi, and nyck de vries.
nascar
its funny how the world works because if you'd have told me last year i'd be a full nascar blog i'd probably laugh in your face but alas, here we are. as if it wasn't obvious enough, my favourite driver is ryan blaney! i like him. a lot. i also root for chase elliott, bubba wallace, brad keselowski, austin cindric, john hunter nemechek, martin truex jr., joey logano and chris buescher, but ignoring kyle larson and noah gragson, i'm okay with most of the drivers. in a (parasocial) love-hate relationship with denny hamlin. of course i'm a hardcore team penske fan but i'm also partial to rfk and 23xi on occasion. huge on jimmie johnson, dale earnhardt jr., kevin harvick, jeff gordon, and kasey kahne too but of course they aren't on the grid.
indycar
my favourite unserious single seater racing series! its an absolute miracle that i hold no disdain against any of the drivers (bar romain grosjean—its a tad complicated. and also goes without saying. fuck santino ferrucci) of course like i said. i'm a penske boy through and through, but i'm partial to a bit of rll on occasion. josef newgarden, will power and scott mclaughlin are my main guys but i'm also attached to alex rossi, graham rahal, kyle kirkwood, scott dixon, pato o'ward and christian lundgaard like a leech. gargantuan enjoyer of dario franchitti, helio castroneves and simon pagenaud too.
motogp
i don't watch it as much as i'd like to but i do plan on doing so going into the next season. am very basic so fabio quartararo, marco bezzecchi, marc marquez and enea bastianini are my riders. partial to a bit of luca marini and pecco bagnaia too. also i'm literally valentino rossi in real life so like. you can't say shit x
Tumblr media
other sports
plan on expanding this list this year possibly but i'm not sure. we'll see!
football
am a liverpool girlie (gn) through and through so thats who you'll see most of, but i will admit i do follow nottm forest and watch a couple games here and there (as a guilty pleasure okay?! they are fun to watch). i've also managed to become extremely attached to a couple players from both teams. said players being mo salah, andy robertson, darwin nunez, dominik szoboszlai, alisson becker, neco williams, jesse lingard, brennan johnson. also being welsh, i support the welsh national team until they're booted from the competition in which case i'll support the netherlands. england is my last resort x
Tumblr media
miscellaneous
am a very random blog so don't except any consistency in anything whatsoever. i also reblog a lot of animal content and expect chicken content! i have 6 hens all of which i love very much. and just in general! expect a lot of random things on this blog! i am a very all-over-the-place person!
cars
come and talk to me about road cars i beg i love talking about them so much it's the reason i got into motorsports in the first place. don't be surprised if i come into your inbox and ask about your fave road cars
tv shows
not the biggest tv show watcher if i'm being honest, had a brief moment with criminal minds but i only got up to season 5. lord knows when i'll pick it up again. huge top gear fan but unfortunately i have beef with jeremy clarkson so i like flop gear. am also currently watching it's always sunny in philadelphia so we'll see where that leads me. also i have yet to watch a full episode of drive to survive. STREAM NASCAR: full speed ON NETFLIX NOW
movies
again, not the biggest movie watcher but obviously am huge on cars and turbo. also big on talladega nights and then my personal favourite film of all time is brokeback mountain so expect an occasional ennis del mar or jack twist on your dash every now and again.
music
am a big oasis enjoyer and gang of youths superfan (0.001% top listener in 2023 💪💪) as well as huge on sam fender and uhh. central cee. also an abel tesfaye girlie i won't lie. um also lord huron and noah kahan and hozier. but my aforementioned nascar hyperfixation has led me into the beautiful world of country. if you dunk on it fuck you and god bless tyler childers
my art/gifs
i draw and gif things once every millennia believe it or not! i don't tag them so keep an eye out for those lol.
Tumblr media
blogkeeping
urls
previously i've been gigglejuice27, gaygglejuice27, horsey-mchorse, kmag-pole and sunshine-5eb. i return to them on occasion.
tagging
i don't tag for shit but if you need something tagged just shoot a message or an ask and we'll get it sorted asap.
do not interact
gasly superfans, max antis and jos verstappen apologists and larson/gragson enjoyers this probably isn't the blog for you.
if you are a racist, homophobe, terf, islamophobe or a zionist. you will be getting blocked instantly x
asks
ask away! my inbox is always open for anything. theres no promise i'll answer but i will try my best. hate will get deleted though.
dms
feel free to dm me about anything! would love to make more friends. bear in mind i can't keep a convo for shit and i have a very bad habit of ghosting though i'm so sorry
sideblogs
i have a shittonne of sides for saving urls, but other than that we've got @neco-williams, @stonersportz and @austin2cindric for the shiggles

Would you sleep with Santino AND his companion, Eric? Would you play Lucky Pierre?
“Probably not. I don’t think Santino would want that. Nor Eric. I also had to put ‘Lucky Pierre’ into the Google, and honestly? Yes, I like that.”

50 anni senza Jack Kerouac!
*
Dizionario Kerouachiano (parte prima):
Proprio in Satori a Parigi scrive: “E io, a volte detestabile, so essere dolce.
Droga – Morfina, anfetamine, marijuana, funghi allucinogeni. Oltre a bere, Kerouac provò molte sostanze tossiche.
Così in Sulla strada.
Cf. Giovanni 15,15-19.

Note
4, 7, 15, 21!
4. Name three of your current Broadway crushes:I’m gonna go with easy ones: Jeremy Jordan, Aaron Tveit, Phillipa Soo
7. Favourite cast recording:At this moment, I am apparently physically incapable of putting any music other than the 2009 cast recording of Hair on. Generally speaking though, the American Idiot cast recording is a fucking incredible piece of art.
15. If you could revive any musical, which one would it be and who would you cast in it?Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 with the original Broadway cast. Or any cast. just. I’m so bitter. But, in more “actually due to be revived” terms...I don’t know. The recent SLM revival was almost perfect, but I’d still loooove for a revival with Santino as Georg and Losnes as Amalia. Also, Annaleigh as Ilona and Gavin can stay as Kodaly because dayum.
21. Best Disney musical:I’ve only seen one done professionally, which was Newsies. But as far as listening? Also Newsies.

Hey Santino, have you ever heard of the musical Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812?
“...I have not. Hold on.”
One Google search and an hour on Youtube later:
“Why was I not informed of this!”

It’s Gonna Be May
May. May. May. She is a wild and crazy gal. And she is zipping by.
But there are a couple of constants regardless of crazy schedules, travel, work insanity and general bullshit.
Mother’s Day. My mom’s birthday. Juan’s birthday. Upfronts. The Indy 500.
Happy Birthday and Mother’s Day to Phyl. This year both were the same day.
Juan attended the Upfronts this year. He loved it. Truly one of the coolest things. We are beginning to watch pilots. Does it say we are getting older when we are excited about shows on CBS?? For the past few years, we have coupled Upfronts with an NYC theater weekend to commemorate Juan’s birthday. These things always coincide. So we try to take advantage of that.
We took a vacation day on the Friday before Upfronts and then went bananas. We shopped until we dropped. We did very bad very good things at a place that sounds like Susan Lucci. Without the Susan. And replace the L for G. Shoes are our babies.
Then we began our theatrical endeavors. On Friday night we saw Tootsie. There’s a new musical version featuring Santino Fontana as Tootsie. We looooove us some Santino. The show is really quite delightful. The time has been updated to a more modern day and some aspects of the plot have been modernized but the story is generally the gist of the movie of same name starring Mr. Dustin Hoffman. We laughed a lot. Highly recommend. It’s a fun romp and something the whole family can enjoy.
On Saturday we enjoyed a classic. Roundabout Theater Company is currently staging a revival of Kiss Me Kate at Studio 54. It features Kelli O’Hara. We loooooove us some Kelli O’Hara. Revivals are interesting. Some are staged very classicall. As originally concepted. While others are reimagined and reengineered. This particular version is a big ass classic. Choreography, orchestra, set, cast. It’s a big honkin’ Broadway show. It’s fun. There’s great music. I’d like to sup, y’all. Potentially with my baby tonight, y’all. It’s too darn hot, y’all. Plus Kelli O’Hara. She’s butter. She can come to the Cabaret whenever she’d like. Please and thank you.
Then on Sunday we saw something special. Something truly original. It’s called Hadestown. So basically the mythological tale of going to hell. Orpheus, Persephone, Hades, Eurydice and Hermes. But set in a New Orleans jazz club with a full jazz score and orchestra. My god. Juan and I were both so moved. It’s really very powerful. The ensemble is absolutely incredible and the Muses are basically narrators in three-part harmony. My god. It’s just cool. Incredibly original. The set is nuts. The lighting is amazing. The singing is so very good. My god. Andre De Shields (Google it....) plays Hermes. He is a gahtdamn living legend. He is nearly gahtdamn 80 years old and he still got it all. The singing, the dancing. He owns the stage. But the rest of the cast is right on time. Eva Noblezada is incredible. Reeve Carney is great and is making up for that Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark fucking bullshit nonsense. Amber Gray is the real deal. We loved her in Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet. And the man who played Hades is a man named Patrick Page. He has the deepest bass voice I’ve ever heard. (That’s what she said.) I cannot stop gushing about this show. I don’t know if it will tour. It’s possibly a commercial stretch but I would just love for people to experience this wonderful show.
And now we are at the end of May. Memorial Day weekend. The weekend when the masses descend upon Indianapolis. Allegedly the best strippers from Vegas and NYC are flown in to entertain the high rollers. That may or may not be true but what is true is we are getting the fuck out of Indy. We’ve done this race thing a couple of times and it’s just too much. I know many of you love May at the track. Too much gen pop. Too much MAGA. I don’t need it. I prefer May in Cali so we are off to visit Mr. Martin Robert Kator. We are going to whoop it up in Monterey, Pebble Beach and Carmel-By-The-Sea. Which sounds fancy AF. It’s going to be an awesome weekend of Pacific Ocean highjinks. Beer, wine, good food, good fun and an aquarium. Bring it.
But for real...how is it the end of May? It is unclear where 2019 has gone. We will just keep on living our best lives. That’s really all we can do.
#blessed

TONY, TONY, TONY!
Režisérka Hadestownu Rachel Chavkinová se v předminulé sezóně uvedla nezvyklou fantaskní inscenací muzikálu Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet.
V rámci původního filmového příběhu, zasazeném do New Yorku 80. let, totiž velmi nenápadně, o to však funkčněji, působil soundtrack legendárního Dave Grusina.
Muzikál Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson či netradiční disco-férie Here Lies Love o bývalé filipínské první dámě (i pozdější prezidentce) Imeldě Marcosové patří tématicky i režijně patrně k tomu extravagantnějšímu, co bylo v posledním desetiletí v oboru k vidění.
