HERE’S WHAT YOU MISSED THIS WEEK (7.2-7.8.25):
NEW MUSIC:
Foo Fighters marked their 30th anniversary as a band with the release of a brand new single, “Today’s Song.” The track is their first new music since the release of their 2023 album But Here We Are.
A Day to Remember released a new music video for the song “All My Friends” featuring WWE superstar Seth Rollins. The video also features a cameo from Wage War's Cody Quistad.
Mimi Barks dropped a cover of Linkin Park’s iconic track “Crawling.” The reimagining of the track arrives after her debut album This is Doom Trap, which landed last September.
Xdinary Heroes dropped a heavy new single titled “FiRE (My Sweet Misery).” The track follows their Beautiful Mind EP, which was released back in March.
TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Wallows announced a special one-off London show at O2 Academy Brixton this August. Taking place on August 20, it will also serve as a warmup for their main stage appearance at the Reading & Leeds festivals.
My Chemical Romance announced they will return to southeast Asia for the first time in a decade for a series of live dates in 2026. The run will begin in Incheon, South Korea on April 18 and end in Jakarta on May 3, 2026.
Spiritbox performed their track “Soft Spine” on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. This TV appearance follows the band’s recent huge shows at Download Festival and with Linkin Park at London’s Wembley Stadium.
OTHER NEWS: 
Waterparks signed a new record deal with BMG, as they revealed on social media last Thursday. Their most recent album Intellectual Property was released in 2023 via Fueled by Ramen.
Fall Out Boy's Joe Trohman revealed he will take time away from the band’s touring schedule this year in order to recover from hand surgery. The guitarist announced the news via social media yesterday.

NEW MUSIC:
Papa Roach returned with their new single “Braindead,” featuring H2O's Toby Morse. With an as-yet-unannounced new album on the way, the former band have several European festival shows ahead of them.
Biffy Clyro revealed the details of their new album Futique. Announced ahead of the trio’s appearance on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, their 10th studio album will arrive on September 26.
Paramore's Zac Farro unveiled the details of his debut solo album Operator. The drummer’s first full-length under his own name will arrive on July 18 via Congrats Records.
Scene Queen launched into a new era with her new single “L-Shaped Couch.” Later this year, she will return to the United Kingdom and Europe for her headline Hot Shows in Your Area Tour.
Good Charlotte returned with their new anthem “Rejects,” the first taste of their upcoming album Motel Du Cap. The eighth full-length from the pop punk act will arrive on August 8.
Bilmuri shared his new single “More Than Hate,” alongside a music video. The singer will also be performing at Reading and Leeds Festival this summer.
As December Falls unveiled another track from their upcoming new album Everything’s on Fire but I’m Fine with “Ready Set Go.” The full album is out on August 8 via ADF Records.
Set It Off launched into a new era with their new, heavy single “Rotten.” It’s the band’s first new music of this year and was released independently.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus dropped their latest single “Slipping Through (No Kings).” Released via Better Noise Music, it was released alongside an animated music video.
Arrows in Action shared the details for side B of their new album I Think I’ve Been Here Before. Set for release on September 19 via Nettwerk, it will feature the freshly dropped single “Empty Canvas.”
TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Motionless in White announced that Dayseeker and Make Them Suffer will join them as supporting acts on their 2026 United Kingdom and Europe arena tour. The tour begins in Glasgow on February 5 and ends in Lisbon on March 7.
OTHER NEWS: 
Blink-182 frontman Mark Hoppus wrote the theme song for Disney Jr.’s new animated series Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends. Premiering on August 11, the song is titled “Totally Awesome.”

On this day 15 years ago, 3OH!3 released their third studio album Streets of Gold. ⭐
The album debuted at No. 7 on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling 41,000 copies in its first week. It also features the lead single "My First Kiss" featuring Kesha, which was certified gold in the United States and platinum in Canada and Australia.

NEW MUSIC:
Spanish Love Songs dropped their new track “Lifers Too,” the final instalment of their No Joy Sessions. The band will be a part of the traveling Common Thread festival this fall, alongside Hot Water Music, Comeback Kid, Joyce Manor and more.
Good Charlotte revealed the details of their new album Motel Du Cap, the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Generation Rx. The eighth full-length from the pop punk legends will arrive on August 8, as confirmed via a billboard in Los Angeles.
Beauty School joined forces with Artio's Rae Brazill on their latest single “Day of Iva.” The former band will be heading out on tour with Mouth Culture in October.
The Band CAMINO revealed the details of their new album NeverAlways. Arriving on July 25 via Atlantic Records, it will feature newly dropped tracks “Stupid Questions” and “Hates Me Yet (222).”
Gen and the Degenerates shared their new single “Wahoo” via Marshall Records, kicking off a new era with a brand-new lineup. The band will play 2000trees this summer.
Enter Shikari shared a live version of “Satellites” featuring Sam Ryder, taken from their upcoming Live at Wembley album. The full album documenting last year’s show at London’s Wembley Arena scheduled for release on July 11.
I Prevail provided another taste of their new era with their single “Into Hell.” It’s their first release since the departure of co-vocalist Brian Burkheiser coming in the form of “Violent Nature” last month.
Chris Comstock (aka Marshmello) launched a new pop-punk band called Underbrook. The band released their debut single “Heads Up” last Friday.
Sophie Powers unveiled her new, brutally-honest single “Head Empty No Thoughts.” It comes after the release of moody track “Move with Me” and her collab with RJ Pasin on “XO.”
TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Waterparks were added to the lineup for Reading and Leeds Festival 2025. They join headliners Bring Me the Horizon, alongside other rock and alternative acts on the bill.
Twenty One Pilots added new dates to their The Clancy Tour: Breach. There are now additional nights for their stops in Toronto and Los Angeles, with tickets going on sale tomorrow.
Pale Waves revealed the details of their 2025 Still Smitten Tour in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The run begins in Sunderland, England on October 13 and ends in Cork, Ireland on October 30.
My Chemical Romance announced a 2026 South American tour with The Hives. The short run of shows kicks off in Bogotá on January 22 and ends in São Paulo on February 5.
Blink-182 announced the supporting acts for their Missionary Impossible Tour. The run of shows will include an array of special guests including Drug Church, Scowl, Landon Barker and more.
OTHER NEWS: 
Simple Plan announced a Prime Video documentary titled The Kids in the Crowd, set for release on July 8. With the news first announced by vocalist Pierre Bouvier at last year’s When We Were Young, the official trailer has now arrived.
Legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk was featured in the new Turnstile-soundtracked Taco Bell advertisement. The commercial is soundtracked by the song “Seein’ Stars and Birds.”
Following Bring Me the Horizon’s feature in the first game, Hideo Kojima seemingly teased that he got Sleep Token in for the highly-anticipated Death Stranding 2: On the Beach video game. The game arrives on PlayStation 5 this Thursday.

On this day 15 years ago, Pierce the Veil released their second studio album Selfish Machines. 🕯
It appeared on several U.S. Billboard charts, including the Top Heatseekers and the Top 200 charts. Lead singer Vic Fuentes and co-writer Tom Denney of A Day to Remember (whose lead singer Jeremy McKinnon is featured on the track "Caraphernelia") would later collaborate on material for the band's fourth album.

On this day 20 years ago, Dropkick Murphys released their fifth studio album The Warrior's Code. 🥊
The album features one of the band's biggest and most well known singles, "I'm Shipping Up to Boston," becoming a hit after being featured in the Oscar-winning movie The Departed and its soundtrack. It was also certified gold by the RIAA and its bonus track, "Tessie", reached No. 89 on the U.S. Modern Rock chart.

DE’WAYNE gave fans another taste of his forthcoming album June in the form of the song “Sundays.” His third album set to arrive on July 30 via Fearless Records.

Motion City Soundtrack shared the details of their first new album in a decade titled The Same Old Wasted Wonderful World. The new record lands September 19 via Epitaph Records and features a guest appearance from Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump.
TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Stray From the Path announced the details of their final United Kingdom and Europe shows, taking place later this year. With the band’s final album Clockworked arriving last month, it will be the last run of dates before they disband.
Palaye Royale announced their 2025 Death or Glory United Kingdom tour, taking place this fall. The short run begins in Glasgow on November 3 and ends in Birmingham, England on November 9.
Kids in Glass Houses will celebrate 15 years of the album Dirt on a special United Kingdom tour later this year. The band will hit the road for five dates this December, playing the record in its entirety.
Turnstile announced a headlining tour across North America later this fall, bringing Speed and Jane Remover as supporting acts, among others. The tour begins in Nashville on September 15 and ends in Orlando on October 19.
The Vans Warped Tour took place in Washington, DC over this past weekend, which featured a closing set from Avril Lavigne on the Sunday date. She also brought out Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley as a surprise guest to sing the band’s song “In Too Deep.”
OTHER NEWS: 
Billie Eilish delivered a cover version of Paramore's classic “The Only Exception” at a show in Paris last Tuesday. The singer is in the middle of her European tour in support of latest album Hit Me Hard and Soft.
