Overall I had fun with this series. It was entertaining except for the moments when it was stressful. There was a lot of silliness, both intentional and not-intentional, which I’m always down for.

I said it before—you set your pace by the distance you have to go and how long you have to get there. Considering all of the things that Sailom and Kang had to get through, and considering Sailom’s pre-existing feelings, I don’t think this series deserved all the criticism it got about being too fast-paced or jumping the gun on enemies-to-lovers. Their story was about a lot more than just them going from fighting to kissing.

Was it a perfect series? No. Does everyone need to find it enjoyable or worth finishing? Certainly not. I just don’t think that pacing is something that can be judged until you know the scope of a story.

I enjoy the subtlety of this framing. Pimfah isn't just seated in the front row, she is the front row. No one else is as close to Nabdao as she is. The rest of the audience might as well not be there. It's just the two of them.
